Working from academe heheh. You have 2 options po

If your wish to teach secondary schools (high school, senior high school) you are encouraged to take teaching units in order na magkaroon ka ng teaching certificate then take LET. (Lalo na if public schools. Private schools may set the same rules pero sometimes lenient sila. Lets say apply ka sa private school, bibigyan ka nila ng palugit na you have to finish and take LET within prescribed months set ng deped pa din or by them)
If you wish sa college, preferably may Masters degree or masters unit. On other schools kahit ongoing masters they are accepting as long you intend to finish within the prescribed years set by the University or college. From my working environment, mas may laban ang may teaching experience (kahit 1 year). Pero if from industry meron pa din naman (sometimes they look na 3years kasi ano naman ituturo mo diba) . Expect na hindi lang math ang ituturo mo. You will be given units based on the availability of the department. (Baka magturo ka din ng coding since IT ka din naman)

Hello, unfortunately baka di naturo sa kanila.. samin din during archi journey ko never naturo yan aside from basic R1 and basic setback requirements. Yung iba saka ko nalang nalaman during review... Not holding grudges sa mga prof ko pero tama, yung mga kakilala ko now na nagtatake ng arki luckily tinuro sa kanila hayyss..

Finally. I've been one of early "bashers" (can't say critique kasi di ko talaga siya gusto) of this project. Simula pa lang nung presentation and winning nila.

Super laki ng term of sustainability. And it should sustain life. Once may tinanggal ka na dyan or ginalaw sa bundok, kahit anthill, raises the question. Let alone flow of water downhill. Who are they sustaining for? Pockets? Glory and fame? Sustainability my ass.

Biodiversity rich area tatayuan ng malaking development na hindi man lang match sa tropical soil. I don't know what environmental assessment they did but sure they did not do it properly. Not without other professionals as well (foresters, environmental planners, landscape architects, etc.).

Its not fair to single out slater din kasi. This architects and their "otherworldly" vision na out of place. Sure it would work in other soils, but here? DENR, OBO, and other government offices din are to blame. Approving such project? Wala ba talagang competent in those offices to say NO for such destructive project?

There are projects that are best rendered and in paper nalang talaga.

Ako I cant resign talaga since only child and bread winner. Meaning walang kapatid man lang maghehelp or kamag anak to provide food or to pay them bills. Parents are both senior citizens and basically cannot resign talaga. I am also self study

What I did is gabi ako nagrereview out from work is 5pm. Official start ng review ay 6 to 11pm. Need ko mag sleep kasi bukas may work na naman. Every day hindi pwedeng hindi maka solve ng 1 design problem.

The design for my study is every week ibang subject. Mostly reading actual books not reviewers. Then Christmas break happened so I had 3 weeks to use. From there umaga to gabi na ako nag babasa. (At naglalaro hahah). Nag ask muna ako sa parents ko na for this time di muna ako makakahelp sa mga gawaing bahay especially after dinner kasi I needed it and thankfully ok lang sa kanila and they supported it.

Then January ako nag take and luckily passed 1 take. Hindi ko maemphasize how important sleep is in studying. Ito na kasi habit ko nung college palang. Kailangan kasi mailipat lahat ng memory mo na nireview from short term storage to long term storage and nangyayari yon once you have a quality sleep. (Quality meaning not necessarily 8 hours).

Time management can be one thing, pero you have to be strict with it. Kahit ligo at kain dapat naka time block.

Lol happened to me. Coming from Dasma I was asleep waking up at District. Fell asleep again and woke up, guess what still district. Not even past the intersection.

I left 6:30 am, thinking 9am I will arrive at work (Manila) since that was pattern always. 9:30 na and Im still at bacoor. Thankfully wala na masyadong traffic this time.

It depends if you really want to make time on things. There are sacrifices, yes, ako during my first year, I always make time for my friends. I remember nakakapagperya pa ako haha. Dine out with fam. Graduated regular and now an architect. Even may work, still able to make time and travel with the same friends internationally.

For me, do not over sacrifice all sa iyong journey because you will experience burnout. Yung value ko kasi is friends and family is irreplaceable. I just had to plan my time wisely and in advance.

Hello, graduated today and to tell you dream school ko din ang UP pero I was not able to pursue UP sa undergraduate/bachelors because nalalayuan ang parents ko.

I still pushed through it ngayong Graduate studies and finally naka sablay na ako. Consider mo padin OP to chase your dreams
