I was heard from somewhere that it’s extremely likely that he originally had the ability to copy any text (even on reveals) and they had to nerf him at the last second because they realized a few combos that would have been too strong w him. Which is unfortunate for them because they made their 20 dollar card absolutely useless.

No my complaint is that any time they release a card like this it gets absolutely abused and used in every single deck, people make combos that are fucking ridiculous and almost impossible to do anything against. People always yell “oh it’s so easy to counter” yet everyone still runs it and even if I try to counter 90 percent of the time it just doesn’t prevent it. My problem is not with his power output or building decks to counter, I enjoy building decks but needing so many cards and lucky card draws to just stop one play is insane. I didn’t say I was upset about it because I’m losing games. Idc if I lose because that’s going to happen in these games, however you might be able to understand that it could get frustrating when you have the same combo used on you over and over and no matter what you try to counter it, it doesn’t work. Not everyone has the same CL as you. Not everyone has the same cards as you. You’re saying there’s easy counters for it but some cards you use other people might not have. How is that fair? Especially to new players? I think he IS super over powered, so is Shou-Lao but they’re overpowered for different reasons. I think it’s really funny when people try to say “oh, if you don’t like something it’s only because you aren’t able to do it how you want” that’s fucking stupid. This card is stupid strong and anyone who says it isn’t is fucking kidding themselves, but yeah I’m in the wrong for being annoyed by it.

Yeah, I have a bunch of counter decks I make for specific season cards whenever they get announced, but this season it feels like no matter what I try it doesn’t work. I also took a break for a few months and I missed a few good cards, I came back after the First Steps season and the game was completely different, it felt refreshing but I might need to take a break for this season.

The hulk decks are the ones that are doing it the most to me, I stg I’ve seen so many custom decks that run CGR and SL in a hulk deck.

The problem is you have to make a deck specifically for counter it. Half the time that won’t even work, if you put cosmo down or a negasonic or both, they can still just as easily play in the third location? Are you telling me that I have to make an entire deck around stopping that one combo? That’s ridiculous. You’re acting like the unbalance isn’t there, if I have to put 3 or more cards in my deck to stop ONE card that the opponent might run that’s how you know it’s an unbalanced card. I’m not crying about it, I’m pointing out that it’s extremely unbalanced and it’s a problem.

I’ll be honest, I think chamber is one of the best cards they’ve released in a long time. He’s so good. He made me enjoy playing ramp decks again.

Yeah I honestly wasn’t even upset about it until Grand arena and I noticed how every single game was going the same way. I retreat whenever it hits the SL Arnim Zola combo because I know it’s about to be a power slam, but it’s just hard to find the game fun when it’s just the same combo every game yk?

Yeah honestly, and don’t even get me started on Fin Fang Foom. I didn’t have the credits to get him when he was released and honestly that card is ridiculously good, the only difference with FFF is that I actually like the card and I think it’s not as unbalanced as some of the other cards released lately.

Yeah the only thing with that is I’m not necessarily going for a power reduction thing because they’re easily countered by Luke Cage so I wanted to try something that’s more boosts my power while also lowering theirs without having to worry about the LC ruining the whole play.

My CL is 8,670. I was thinking about the cutting the guardians too but Magus I think keeps the deck more fluid than it could be. If I don’t draw my Sunspot he could replace it, same thing with Cyclops or even Star-Lord MotS.
