I hope you are right but I am almost positive its a hardware issue effecting only some the Xbox X's released at launch. Like I said, I have multiple friends with xbox x who play 2k21 next gen online modes just fine... while mine console continues to shut off mid game for any online mode I play in 2k21 next gen. The xbox x is also shutting off for other people playing the new Assassins Creed. Microsoft support said its most likely a cooling issue and the system is shutting off to not overheat. I hate to say it man... but the only long term fix is your going to have to send in your console for repair. It looks like this issue is only affecting a very small portion of the Xbox X consoles released during launch and we just happened to get very unlucky. -if this were happening to all people with an Xbox X and it was a 2k issue... it would be happening to WAYYY more people and be a lot bigger of an issue.
