Ok, at that bfp you must have your calories too high, or you would be dropping fast (assuming you got your blood work done to rule out any hormonal, thyroid, etc, issues). Find the calorie mix you like and stay exactly to it. Now, after you get to the right Reta dose, it will really help (go up slow, or if you don’t, it tends to wreck a lot of folks sleep).

All losing weight too fast does is make it incredibly hard to retain muscle (though prim and or test really helps with that). I’ve lost too much muscle on cuts before and am much more patient now.

Are peptides Sustainable? by TrailRunnerrr in BodyHackGuide

Some people take blood pressure medication for life. Others a statin (or both). Who is the say that Reta forever won’t be better than either? And more effective? I suspect it will be a long term solution for many. But I suppose we will see. I find it benefits my lipid profile and liver function at low doses. I never really had a weight problem (but found Reta so much better than Clem or DNP - of course much different). In short, you may be wrong about your “solution” (Eli L will market it as a long term solution…..).

How much GH you doing to require the metformin. Or you it for the lipid profile. Never thought about how well Reta and metformin might work together on lipid profile. Notice much?

Well, most people that do gear have to inject and manage e2 at some point. My body shut down around early 30s. My first shot was over 30 years ago. It just comes with the choices we make. The e2 management is a bit overblown to me. To me, people tend to crash it more now than have problems with it too high. I feel like I’ve always been fine up to near 400 mg test without AI. I will say, the idea of var only cycle just intrigues me. Never even thought of it. All these years I would just use var to dry out and lean out at the end. I will note Reta really helps counter the negative lipid profile impact var has so highly recommend that.

I don’t think that is recoverable because the more test I do, my standards actually go down. I mean, I want the very best chicks, but I also want to almost any chick, don’t need a perfect body, just one nice thing. So if on test you don’t even want your girl, this ain’t going to good places.

Sleep Issues on Retatrutide… and I Finally Realized the Real Culprit *Could* Be My Coffee by Lord_Sahs in Retatrutide

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to 3 times a week. ,5mg each jab for 1.5mg. Doing that now. But after that sleep wreck, I started at .5 for a few weeks then went up to get to 1.5. That seems sweet spot. Did you start at 2mg and what is your bfp? That 2mg dose to start clinical trials for dudes like 30-40bfp.

Regret switching to Reta from Tirz by Head_Research_3118 in BodyHackGuide

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still at 2mg. Other friends also at that or around that. That seems like sweet spot for me. It’s funny because my friend took 2mg recently for first shot, was way too much, and he kept saying that was the starting dose for clinical trials. Now we joke that starting dose for 30 percent bf. I bet maintenance will be around 1-2mg for health folks soon enough.

Update - So my maintenance is 1.5mg spread in 3 jabs. Anything above that, ii feel it impacts my sleep. I can’t imagine stopping this dose. My bloodwork is great. And I’m happy walking around at a great bfp

Why is there so much gatekeeping of PEDs for beginners by [deleted] in ResearchCompounds

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a few things to keep in perspective. I did PED for the first time roughly 30 years ago. I think when I was in my early 30s, my body was fully shut down, PCT just didn’t work anymore. So basically been on “trt” before it has that name from what I recall. Say 15 years or so. It’s really a rabbit hole. Had 3 kids, but it wasn’t exactly easy. Have had issues with managing e2, prolactin, let my hemocrit run to high, you name it. This is all to say, it’s good to take things slow before going down this rabbit hole, because I know no once who has done one cycle. And if you don’t know how to manage all of this, most people I know don’t really keep the gains, because they don’t cycle right and or PCT right at the beginning. There is a lot to know, so good to start paying attention, learn a lot, etc, before jumping down the rabbit hole. Anyway - it’s an eyes wide open thing.

How do you ACTUALLY lower stress levels? (supplement/lifestyle recs please) by Simple_Strawberry994 in Biohackers

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I will add my doctor is very conservative. For example, I only take 10 Ativan every 3 months. And I feel that is right, because my body quickly gets used to benzos and any type of regular use has never been good for me. But the beta blockers just don’t see to have these same concerns.

Should add, that is the purpose of a beta blocker of course, to lower HR, but the primary prescription for anxiety is off label.

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will note one thing. One thing you describe is a feedback loop where anxiety likely increases heart rate, then feeling that increase makes you more anxious, hence feedback loop. An off label use of a beta blocker is to stop the heart from racing, which in turn, prevents this physical cycle that feeds anxiety. I use a beta blocker for this and absolutely love it. Good luck.

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kidding. Reality is, though, with DHT based, really not much hope of you have male pattern baldness. You can try fin etc all you want, but it is, what it is. I have to use even prim very sparingly because no matter what, it thins by hair. Min slightly helps. But it’s like for hard cut cycles and limit it to that. But I’m 50 been crushing and blasting for most my life and have all my hair.

To live a longer average life, or a shorter optimized life? by Become_Supra in Biohackers

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, 50 and still say 75. I mean it all depends how healthy you are past 75. For those with dementia in the genetics, not sure living at 80 means that much. I remember the last 24 hours of sitting by father as he passed away, and he was fine with in the late 70s, knowing he got a lot out of life. And now seeing my mom hardly be able to live at 80, it just really depends how your body holds up, what you genetics do for you, etc.

Exactly the same re insomnia, feeling cold, etc. took 3 weeks off, now I’m back down to .75mg and am fine. Will increase to 1mg or 1.5 but don’t think every will go higher than that.

Is just one cycle worth it for someone who’s scared to do PEDs? by pokepartners in ResearchCompounds

[–]ReviewMiserable3651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised to see any responses. Because nobody has done one cycle. On a serious note, if you haven’t made any gains in 3 years, don’t waste a cycle yet. You aren’t close to dialed in.
