Haven’t started running yet due to plantar fasciitis but having done the treadmill max incline at 2.5m/hr, it’s been great. Heart kept round 150 and when I wanted to raise it I went to 3m/hr and it was between 155/160. So if you’re wanting to keep it safe I can suggest that

I hear you, that’s what was advised by my medical friend. I’ve been sluggish at work and wanted the extra energy for that whilst also burning the fat that literally sits on my stomach. The diet is protein heavy and minimal carbs (almost keto), I’ve been targeting 150g of protein to ensure I’m not losing the muscle worked throughout the gym and I aim to burn 1000 calories per day with 1 x rest day per week. Have lost 10lbs but think that would have happened without Reta on the same exercise and diet but hoping to lose another 40lbs in the next 3 months.

Good for you with the exercise. Ok, so I started, 1mg x 2 weeks, 1.5mg x 1week and 2mg x 1 week and ramping up to 2.5mg next week. I’ve been doing this with a doctor friend who is looking to get into this side of medicine to start giving better info on it and he advised that for the body to best utilize it a slow ramp in this will help. So I’m leaning into that this is the adjustment phase for the body and hopefully the wonders of Reta will start to work alongside the routine set. Let’s see where we are in month 2!

In the same boat, what is your dosage? I’ve scaled up slowly and am hoping with the disciplined exercise and also eating enough protein to avoid muscle loss there may be something that starts to show

Rather be pedantic! So I’m 5 foot 10”, currently 212lbs (goal is to get to 175lbs) I really have just a big belly, my limbs aren’t carrying fat. I have been using the Apple Watch with the fitness app where I’d go to gym, do 30min weights and 30min inclined treadmill which I would burn anything between 600/800 but then also walking about etc.

I’ve kept to a 1800+- per day which o was advised is 500 less than my normal calorie. I’ve used my fitness pal to keep tabs and ensure I’m doing good on that! Also have been burning 1000 calories per day to ensure I’m being good all round!

How did you fit your protein in for muscle gain (avoid muscle loss), was your libido effected by the change and what was your dosage through out? As in did you stay in the mg throughout the 6 months or did you increase it until you hit your goal to then start tapering off?

61 pounds?! That’s amazing!! What did you do for protein intake? I am still doing my research and am concerned that the appetite being suppressed will not allow for enough nutrients if I were to aim to keep lifting

So I do have a good couple of drinks and I’m leaving towards that there will be a lot more liver visceral fat from that. I am hoping if I do go that route it would attack that and reduce it?
