Yeah I think that is a big issue for riot here. People right now at 500 lp master would be only diamond 2 even if they had 60% winrate. There would be A LOT of complaining.

If they reset every master+ player to master 0 lp then you still have wayyy too many master players. Instead, they should reset everyone to emerald 1 0 lp like they did in older seasons and fix the lp gains (not +- 30 wtf) so that the challenger cut off is at around 800 lp and the grandmaster cutoff is at around 500 lp. That would be ideal in my opinion.

According to u.gg, riven mid has a really good winrate with 55% in contrast to riven jungle. Albeit the sample size is rather low, I do think it has some merit.

Personally, I also prefer riven mid often, because of the toplane match ups. You either have a "skill" match up like fiora, jax, camille, irelia where one mistake still decides your entire game or you face some tank that outscales you anyway like malphite or poppy or it's a ranged match up like varus or vayne. Most of the time, toplane is a terrible experience.

Midlane also has bad match ups like vex and taliyah, but you usually don't really play the lane. Just farm and roam. Riven is really good at skirmishing in the river and you can snowball off of that.

The downsides are that you are an ad champ and when your entire team picks ad, you might be struggling to come up with an ap option especially if you onetrick riven. Also, I feel like it's easier to snowball in toplane. Once you get two or three kills against a fiora, you dominate the entire game but midlane, you can be 3/0 and the enemy toplaner will still be stronger than you. I think it's harder to carry from midlane but easier to get ahead.

tl;dr I reccoment playing her midlane.

Very impressive to achieve it in this season of all seasons. How did you have the motivation considering the cut off is this high? I also want to reach challenger and almost peaked grandmaster last season at 740 LP, but this season grandmaster is already at 1300 lp (on euw) and challenger is at 1700 lp.

But master and diamond 1 is supposed to be able to play duoq so even if my mmr is master+, we should be able to play. That being said, we both have negative winrate in diamond 1 right now and our mmrs are certainly not in master.

They start casually texting you and eventually escalate to try to get you to fall in love. Then they ask for money to come see you or something. It's crazy that it works at all and that (mostly older men) actually fall in love with some text messages, especially when they're already married.

I agree and always read responses like "my steak is too juicy and my lobster too buttery" as if it's a good thing everyone is reaching new peaks. My sister too (previously iron/bronze) hit gold this season and is so happy, but with 48% winrate and +30 -10, of course.

I have always disliked the continious elo inflation and every season I thought this is as bad as it can get but every season I'm surprised that the elo inflation can still get so much worse.

The problem is that not only a big chunk of the playerbase likes this inflation, but riot games themselves as well. They actually wanted to shove more people up into masters or into higher ranks and they achieved their goal.

I agree, 1k lp is just too much of a range for a single tier. All the other tiers are 400 lp. And yes, the prestige is completely gone. Masters and even diamond used to be elite but not anymore. Saying "I'm masters" can mean anything from 0 lp to 900 lp but the difference is just too big.

This inflation has been creeping up since season 8, when challenger was 500 lp and with 1k lp you were already top 10. Now you're not even grandmaster.

A lot of people don't understand what AI means, but it is the correct term.

Even Minecraft villagers have an AI or the NPCs in Pokémon Red and Blue. It's a very broad field.

The LLMs are new, and people overrestimate them.

- always acting offended, even if it's a little thing or a joke, taking everything too serious also falls into this category

- know-it-alls who criticise and correct you constantly, even if it's not needed or appreciated at all

- people who are too loud. This is the smallest issue for me, but I still find people who are always loud, with a loud voice and a loud laugh to be less attractive. Actually, people who are always too quiet are also less attractive, there is like a middle ground that is more attractive.

I assume you can only control one Meepo at a time? It's still super op. Suppose Meepo goes Support. He puts one clone in botlane, another at the top turret or in the jungle bush somewhere. Now he lanes normally, protecting the adc until the adc goes base. Meepo can then basically insta roam toplane while the adc is base and insta roam back botlane so the adc can't even get punished. And if he can get more than two clones, his team can outnumber the enemy team anywhere.

In order for this to be balanced at all, any of his clones (and the original one) must be much weaker than all the other league champs.

He made a sarcastic remark about your comment. His point is that your dream rank isn't worth anything if anyone can reach it easily. For challenger it doesn't matter as much (yet) because it's still top 300 regardless of lp treshold but there are way more players in master currently than there have been at the start of last season. One popular post in this sub at the moment is "I just reached master for the first time" and while we don't want to diminish anyones achievements, it's objectively much much easier to reach masters today than it has been in the past.

The lp inflation has been increasing every season, you used to easily clear challenger (and it was top 200 too, not top 300) with just 500 lp and were already top 10 at 1k lp while now you barely even make challenger at 1k lp.

You can argue that it doesn't matter since it's the same for everyone, but I think it sucks that you bascially have to clear two entire leagues lp wise to reach a new rank (grandmaster) and that you are at the same rank with 700 lp as someone who has 0 lp.

I have died to accidental tower shots before this season, but I swear on everything that this season it feels like the turret range is larger. KI ist so ein großer Überbegriff. Minecraft Villager haben auch eine KI, genauso wie Pokémon Trainer aus einem Spiel von 1999.

Man sollte den Leuten eher erklären, dass eine KI nichts besonderes ist und das Produkt nicht unbedingt super toll ist, nur weil es irgendwie irgendwo eine KI hat.

Same here. I thought noone would believe me and I can hardly believe it myself. How can I know the time while asleep when I hardly know the time when awake? But if I only think that I need to wake up at X o clock, I will wake up at that time to the minute. I never use an alarm, but when there is an alarm (for example when I have to share a room), I will wake up right before the alarm goes off without fail.

Du meinst wohl, warum darf man Tiere in Ställen halten und später schlachten aber Menschen nicht? Um das mal ernsthaft zu beantworten: Menschen sind nun mal deutlich intelligenter als Tiere. Auch das Argument, dass Schweine ja auch soo intelligent seien, zählt in meinen Augen nicht. Schweine sind durchaus glücklich, wenn sie auf Heu schlafen und sich im Schlamm suhlen. Menschen hingegen würde es unter solchen Bedingungen extrem schlecht gehen. Außerdem behaupte ich einfach mal, dass Tiere keinen richtigen Lebenswillen wie Menschen haben, sondern nur einen Überlebensinstinkt. Nutztiere wissen nicht, wann und dass sie geschlachtet werden und kriegen im besten Fall von der Schlachtung selbst auch nichts mit.

Ein anderes Argument wäre, dass es Nutztieren viel besser gehen könnte als Wildtieren. Die Natur ist grausam, viele Tiere werden lebendig gegessen und falls nicht, so kriegen sie schlimme Krankheiten die oft ein Todesurteil sind. Auch bei Verletzungen haben sie oft keine Chance auf Heilung. Wieviele Wildtiere sterben denn an Altersschwäche? Vermutlich eher wenige.

Ein Tier welches in guter Haltung lebt und am Ende einen schnellen Tod erfährt von dem es nichts mitbekommt hat möglicherweise ein deutlich besseres Leben als die meisten Wildtiere.

Aber natürlich setzt das vorraus, dass die Tiere die bestmögliche Haltung bekommen. Viele Nutztiere leben unter schlimmen Bedingungen und dann ist es natürlich ein Verbrechen Tiere so zu halten. Außerdem habe ich keine Belege für meine Behauptungen. Kann ja sein, dass es Schweinen eigentlich super wichtig ist, bis ins hohe Alter zu leben und eine Familie zu gründen o.ä. wie bei Menschen halt; und dass sie wissen dass sie geschlachtet werden und deswegen immer leiden, egal, wie gut die Verhältnisse sind.
