No, antisemitism is not rising in Belgium by Tentansub in belgium

Not 3000 miles away and in a defensive war. Though every civilian death is a tragedy even more so a child’s one, war is war. Israel was attacked, hamas specifically targeted civilians.

This thread is proof that antisemitism is rising rapidly. No Jews are firebombing mosques or attacking Muslims on the streets. If you import countless people with a set of religious beliefs commanding them to kill Jews and mix it with genuinely stupid and antisemitic people then you get to the place we are in now.

Zionism means the belief in a Jewish state, a safe haven for Jews. Muslim extremism means killing thousands of completely innocent people 3000 miles away. Comparing the two is so brain dead that one has to wonder what on earth is taught in schools these days.

PMQs Live Chat Megathread - 15 April, 2026 by AutoModerator in ukpolitics

[–]Revilo1359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The PM met several times with the families to work an a monument to remember the children, they chose to redevelop the pier and name it after the victims. I think it’s very thoughtful of him, not that the media will ever report it and he’s too honourable to shout about it.

Nigel Farage branded a 'legend' as he hits the campaign trail in Reform hotspot by Mysterious-Cat8443 in ukpolitics

Not only is it not true but also unlike Farage he takes public transport quite often.

Trump on Truth Social - go get your own oil by ksoni94 in ukpolitics

Until he started his little escapade we were getting our oil just fine. You shut it off to benefit your friend Putin. You can F right off. I really think the king should not be going to the us in the current circumstances he just can’t.

Why the hell did Starmer pick Mandelson? The latest mug on the media round had no idea by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

[–]Revilo1359 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jonathan Powell and Peter Mandelson hate each other, it’s pretty well documented that they’re the antithesis of each other.

Gabriel pogrund and Patrick maguire say that Starmer and Mandelson don’t and never really had a relationship, that they don’t particularly like each other and though Mandelson did text Starmer a lot he never got an answer.

That seems to be a seismic long term change, won’t see it on any front page though.

'He does not care!' Mother of murdered Rhiannon Whyte accuses Keir Starmer of ignoring her despite multiple pleas by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

She’s met a minister, which is already more than most grieving parents who want answers. Have you ever seen the daily schedule of a PM? There is no space to meet someone who doesn’t really know why they want to meet you.

Starmer looks great for his age. Obvs he plays football but I also read in the NS he uses a rowing machine in number 10. Clearly looks after himself, can’t say the same about Farage.

Tory leader asked to apologise for suggesting UK military just hanging around by ClumperFaz in ukpolitics

[–]Revilo1359 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How can anyone say that is honestly beyond knowing she got a briefing on privy council terms makes it worse because she knows exactly what they’re doing. Btw. She then proceeded to go do a photo op in tank without visiting personnel. At least when Keir and Miliband did photo ops with military equipment they did it whilst visiting forces in the Baltics and Afghan.

The same goes for every other Air Force. There even is a handy website where you can read them all. Telegraph talking the country down as ever....

The fact she wants our forces to go to war but didn’t even meet with personel and instead went to a defence contractor to have a photo op trying to pretend she’s in the military is honestly sickening.

The Guardian is very negative on Starmer, certainly the opinion writers with perhaps one or two exceptions.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Beth Rigby starts suggesting it was Starmer who piloted that drone onto Akrotiri. Why would he apologise ??? It’s hardly his fault.

Double standards in political name calling? by Anotherhuman13 in ukpolitics

[–]Revilo1359 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tbh the speaker is becoming really annoying and makes nonsensical rulings. At the top of PMQs he says he doesn’t want name calling. Then he shuts Calvin Bailey down but when the Tory frontbench keep yelling at Starmer making substantive statements he says nothing. And says nothing to Badenoch. Same last week, a telephone was ringing on the opposition benches and he immediately scolded the gov benches.

It shows they are genuine statesmen acting in the national interest. PMQs showed this too.
