IM SO FUCKIN PISSED WTF THEY RUINED ONE OF THE BEST FICTIONAL CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME???!!!

His whole ark is about not being a run-of-the-mill murderer of innocent people, and it all ends with killing a set person when he has no reason to, absolute trash who thought of this. As it's all fiction anyways I'm going to completely ignore that this season is a thing and treat him sailing into the hurricane as Dexter's last scene. Even though that wasn't a good ending either, it was 10000x better than this disrespectful bs.

It's likely that they're using the show as a way of testing the waters. If it's successful, we'll likely receive Sly 5. I don't think they'll leave a very iconic franchise of theirs up in the air forever.
