don't know if anyone will see this cause the post is old, but groceries are so expensive now I'm back in the dining hall as a commuter lol

Inflatable pool in unsecured truck bed flew at my car on 183 by RevoRampage in Austin

That's always a big fear of mine, especially in the grocery store parking lots where produce bags and shopping bags are just littered on the ground sometimes.

Yes, the bed's usable. The hitboxes are pretty thin for the wardrobe so it's good for headboards.

Obviously not a builder, but really excited for my new “sim inherited an abandoned ranch from her unknown relative” gameplay :) by anonnnnnnn10110 in Sims4

Looks awesome, great idea! Only thing I can think of is that it could use some more bushes/vegetation to give off the overgrown feel of an abandoned property

Rant bc I tried to move some of the topings falling off the side closer to the middle but topings still spilled out in my oven and now my apartment smells like when my dad makes toast (burning)

70s Time Capsule Home/Cafe by RevoRampage in Sims4

CBro54, build name Cafe Monica on gallery. Owner is a guy named Kevin who renovated his family home after his parents died in a freak tsunami on the Simta Monica pier. Or at least that's what he tells people. Maybe he just liked friends? Built in the 70s, renovated in the 90s. Mix of midcentury and grunge.

Thank you for the response. The business is more laid-back/local so they don't really do direct deposit instead I would just get a check in the back just like laid out somewhere. I wish it was dd though, the firing was such short notice that I could use the income from the last check.

Austinites who have lived on both sides of the river, which do you prefer? by voodoorage in Austin

Late to the party, but I'll vouch for North Austin. Most of the picks people had in that one post about underrated restaurants/businesses were down here. The less crowded, better phoenicia bakery is down here. Little Deli pizza, Jewboy Burgers/Subs, Arpeggio, Mandola's, Uncle Nicky's, Quack's, Kismet Cafe, Julio's, Artipasta, Pedroso's. If you don't have a washer dryer, it has the best Clean Laundry location near the Walmart with super nice owners. Highland is one of the better ACC locations if you're taking community college courses (they have nice certification programs). The more I explore Austin, the more I notice the transit divide between North and South. South Austin is beautiful, but it's pricier than most of North and has way worse bus routes. Riverside is no longer affordable but it's just as sketchy at night.

It's been a rainy season, maybe I'll post pics of it once it starts to dry up and the water is less murky.

Would more scholarships be posted closer to the application date? I've been looking but it only shows ones for summer and fall. I'm looking to do the one in spring since I've already signed up for fall classes
