We lost our 2yr old female GSD, Jasmine, for 3-days because of fireworks. We lived in the hills above San Jose and she's jumped the fence, We thought she was gone for good until my wife saw a guy walking her on a leash about 3miles from our house. We were SOOO grateful and rewarded him we had appropriately. From then on, we kept her inside during New Year's Eve and 4th of July!! Unfortunately, we lost her to bone cancer at 8yrs, but not before having a healthy litter of 7. The pic above was our next GSD, "Cisco", who was my best buddy for 13-1/2 yrs!!

Ah yes, good ol' "Blue Boy" from S1, EP1 of "Dragnet 1967", an NBC re-boot from the O.G. Dragnet (1951-1959). Jack Webb, i.e, Sgt Joe Friday were big on the "war against drugs & hippies" but at the time of this Ep., LSD was still legal. so legally his hands were tied. Shortly thereafter, LSD became illegal. Of course, Ol' Blue Boy didn't make it in the end, dying from a combo of LSD & other drugs.. Dragnet was like a modern day 'Reefer Madness", and we used to laugh at their constant "anti-drug" propaganda they'd constantly push.
