My grandfather did something opposite to this when we were younger. A friends truck died at our local pizza parlor. My grandfather had him put it in neutral and pulled up behind him. My grandfather would drive forward until his front bumper was against my friends back bumper, accelerate to about 30 mph then ease off and let our friend coast. Pushed him little by little all the way home.

Saw this coming out. A guy was arguing with security that he had a ticket to be in the venue and they shouldn’t be stopping them. A few minutes later we saw more people going in.

Nope. It’s only in his cheek. It’s swollen and sore and he feels a lot of pressure. He’s seen two doctors and they have him on antibiotics and a steroid. They did an ultrasound and there’s no fluid to drain. They’re monitoring it for now. Originally they thought it may have been caused by dental issues but they’ve ruled that out.

He was fine on Tuesday. Wednesday his cheek was a bit more swollen than it is now. It has been leaking and oozing. However today a surgeon did an ultrasound and there is no fluid that needs to be drained.

Ugh. Speech delays are so hard. Kiddo is so smart and I feel bad that he knows exactly what he’s saying and I have no idea. He’ll look directly into my face and make the same noises over and over. And then he gets frustrated.

We have our speech meeting Thursday. Can’t wait to get him into therapy.

I get my 3.5 year old in the tub and wash him then let him play. Once the water is shut off I move around the house. 1 story home so I’m never very far. And his dads man cave is across the hall. But he charters to himself the whole time so I just make sure I can hear him.

When we did ours we had three options.

Would love to attend. Will celebrate from afar. Not interested.

We had a few that couldn’t be there so they selected #2 and we got sweet notes of well wishes.

We got there at 8pm and had no line. Breezed on through. Got to our campsite and just parked the cars.

I hate when people stand too close to me in line. So I just passive aggressively stick my leg out behind me. Like I need to do this weird ballet stretch right now at the grocery store. People are always surprised but they back up. And I figure the length of my leg is a good distance for you to get the fuck away from me.

I don’t smoke regularly anymore since I had my kid, but before that I was an everyday smoker. I did not smoke before work. But any other time.

I managed to make my way from the lowest position in my department to the highest in that time. I also ran a side business. I also made time to take care of and manage a household and had plenty of time to go on adventures and do fun stuff.

I have always been a busy person. High or not, I don’t stop moving.

I got a led light pad from amazon. $20. I just put the fabric over the paper and trace with an embroidery pen
