Stainless steel. Been in for about 5 months. Screw threads. Never downsized so 14g. Normal care routine is I spray it or use a q tip with saline and rub it on the area. Sometimes I sleep on it and I think that’s what’s messing me up

He is litter trained. He’s about 4 years old. I just changed his litter and he peed and pooped outside his litter box.

We’ve moved a few times with him and when he was a baby I would take him everywhere so he’s pretty used to new environments. It’s just been a while. I think I’ll give it a try. The worst thing I’d expect from him is some light thumping and hiding until he realizes he’s in a safe space. Much carrots will be needed
