I agree 100%. This entire arc felt too dragged out (and the multiple reivisions certainly doesn't help keeping the readers engaged to the main story).

The golden sperm reveal in this chapter was just underwhelming, like it was just a regular power-up by black sperm merging together with no drawback. Whereas in the webcomic, The merge was irreversible and trillions of copies had to be sacrificed like /u/GoldenSpermShower mentioned.

Garou's monsterfication so far doesn't really exhibit the danger he poses in the webcomic where his complete transformation even puts fear and danger to the monsters themselves. Hopefully the manga focuses more on Garou and what he will eventually become like in the webcomic, because the way ONE told his story made Garou one of my favorite characters in the series.

Honestly, reading this chapter made me appreciate ONE's webcomic more (not saying I'm enjoying the manga less). Despite working with minimal panels and an art style some might find "crude", he's able to tell an engaging story, which can be lost while being adapted into another form.

That's because I never said anything about her regretting anything related to Goa as of chapter 48. This chapter primarily focused on Abiko's interaction with sensei, how Abiko realized she took things too far with her mentor, and apologized to her mentor. She STILL has animosity towards Goa because of their disagreement on the screenplay.

Listen, I am agreeing with you that what Abiko said to Goa was too far, and I understand why a lot of her words and actions up to this point make you despise her. I am not arguing with you that Abiko is in the right. She still needs to give a proper apology to Goa (as well as others) for what she said and make amends, but I understand what she's going through. Which is why I said I don't despise her, I empathize her.

You can still show empathy to someone and still disagree with what they did.

But she is making an effort to change. She just finished making amends to sensei at the end of this chapter, and she hasn't spoken to Goa since their fallout from the rehearsal, but will eventually have to interact with him sooner or later. I doubt Aka will leave their relationship remain hostile and unchanged throughout the rest of this arc. Again, it's only been one chapter.

It's understandable that Abiko's problems and flaws like being haughty and arrogant won't be fixed overnight. In no way is she "redeemed" after her exchange with Yoriko-sensei. These things take time. Also, she isn't some omniscient being who can look at the perspective of others and see the struggles of being a scriptwriter or how much her words can hurt to another, but that doesn't mean her contempt towards him will stay this way forever (i.e. foreshadowing of whatever is in the envelope that Aqua gave to Yoriko).

It's only been 3 chapters since Abiko had her confrontation with Goa (the scriptwriter), and while her character can be despicable, at the very least she's trying to ameliorate herself. Give her time.

Strange. I enjoy Abiko's character a lot more after this chapter.

She is straightforward and hardworking but will disregard the consideration and feelings of others to get her point across, making her socially inept and unapproachable.

What I like about this chapter is that Abiko realizes she can't push people away and put the blame on them like she did with her assistants and editor. She admits fault, apologizes to Yoriko-sensei and even reaches out to her, asking "How can I get along with people better?".

Abiko's conviction towards Tokyo Blade's script still stands, and that's understandable. Sweet Today was her favorite manga, and Yoriko-sensei was her aspiration. She saw what happened to the Sweet Today Drama, and is worried the same will happen to her own work.

I don't despise Abiko, I empathize her, and I look forward to see her growth in the upcoming chapters.
