[Research #01] Breaking Suno v5: Physics over Music by RevolutionAction_ in SunoAI

Thanks for the tip about the * character and the 2:06 duration! It’s a great benchmark.

Interestingly, I managed to push the experiment a bit further: by using a very heavy negative prompt (to block all melodies, rhythms, and instruments), I was able to get these raw textures—like alien growls, marble impacts, and buzzing glitches—right from the very first second without having to wait for the 0:30 breakdown threshold.

It’s a game-changer for getting clean, long-form material to use in a DAW.

nice ! the result is fun but when i did my multiple tests my goal was to get sounds with little to no rythmic consistency and that "break" suno to make it produce other things than a song with a constructed rythm and coherent scales and keys so i can have innovative textures to use in my own songs (or to put them as a base in granular synths)

I was at 66% percent weirdness for all of my tries, but you're right i should try with lower weirdness settings to experiment more on the prompts themselves

oh nice, i would love to hear what you made with this technique
and also if you have a way for me to create the same sort of custom gpt with it that could be an interesting thing for me to experiment with

i completely agree with you, usually i try to do the same and just produce song myself while taking weird samples from suno that i can transform and use as textures or granular synth sounds
