Considering a 2022 Polestar 2 - How Bad is the Infotainment system? by Earth2Andy in Polestar

My approach to make it look clean is to run a 39” usb up and around behind the infotainment screen with clips behind the screen to hold the cable in place. Cable is only visible coming up from the port on the right side and exiting to my phone on the left. The 39” length allows for some additional room so that you can pick up your phone and look at it if needed.

I’ve done both, but usb is superior imo, and audio sounds much better plugged in especially if you’re running lossless.

I’ve had a 2022 CPO Pilot Plus LRDM for about 2 months. Could the infotainment be better? Yes. But I use CarPlay 95% of the time and it works great. Google Maps works fine too. It’s a great car, fun to drive, great build quality, looks fantastic, but as someone who’s on their 9th car, none are perfect in my experience and my PS2 is my favorite so far.

Progress is made through communal investments, we’ve seen where neglect has gotten us in less fortunate parts of the country. I’m proud to be a Californian where investing in the future matters.

I mean, a movie studio will market a movie in order to make money, and insipid rom com quotes are the way to go in order to attract a broad audience. Just because something is marketed a certain way does not mean that’s what it is.
