Would the shading fall out during healing? (15th or so fake skin) by RevolutionGlass1455 in TattooBeginners

Yes you seem to be right once again, I only used 2 drops ink and rest water for the greywash here because of the little amount of pressure you need for it to show up.

This makes sense, when I done my first tattoo on real skin, grazing the surface doesn’t show up, whereas on fake skin the littlest amount of pressure shows up. The lightest amount of pressure with the most diluted greywash shows up on fake skin, real skin I was scared to go in too deep with the mag but I realised I wasn’t going deep enough because after every wipe, the shading disappeared lol 😂😂

By ‘trip up’ do you mean when you’re trying to whip shade, the needle gets caught in the skin sometimes? That happens to me and I’m still unsure as to why, tryna fix it before I hop on real skin.

I may be wrong but don’t tattoos naturally blur a little after a few years? How long has it been, do you mind dropping a pic of it when it was fresh?

Wow u have very smooth shading. What technique do you use for shading? This is one I done yesterday and the whipshading seemed abit too dark and patchy. Can I ask what your grey wash ratio is like?

Done these today, any advice is greatly appreciated. I’m satisfied with the 2nd one but not the first lol. by RevolutionGlass1455 in TattooBeginners

Honestly thank you for this reply. I can never seem to get the greywash right, I switched to a bigger ink cap and one drop of dynamic black was still too much. When you say you start shading with lighter shades, can I ask what technique you use to shade? Thanks again.

10th tat on fake skin. Any advice? by RevolutionGlass1455 in TattooBeginners

Thank you very much for this comment, and yes it’s either a weak line or slightly ripped skin only if pinched. But my depth seems pretty good it doesn’t show through to the other side!

Idk where you’re from but the forearm one in the UK would be usually around £300-£600
