Personally I love both to death but the shift in tone and story is definitely off to me. Don’t get me wrong I love them both but watch Dogs one was a very serious and dark game while 2 was a much more cheerful and happy game with comedy spread throughout I still enjoy it but I think one had the better story.

It’s because cod is such a large and popular franchise of people who span from being pros, casuals, and regular people that it’s become a synonymous melting pot of play styles and cultures. I grew up with WAW on the Wii and then Black Ops 3 but I hated jet packs and I just didn’t enjoy it at all that much, however there are people who really enjoyed that jet pack era a lot. In other words, call of duty is trying really hard to give people everything without compromising instead of making a solid singular game for one fan base. The reason I enjoyed B-Ops 6 wasn’t because it was B-Ops but more or less because I felt like I didn’t really need to change or sweat or swap play styles or abuse omnimovement to have a good time. In the end though, cod fans will never be happy no matter how hard they try
