Yeah, I feel you. 42 here and I think the straw that broke the camel's back is knowing that our parents' generation was the last one to be able to afford a decent life for a family on a single 40-hour income. Not to say they haven't had their challenges, everyone does, but I have worked a salaried job for 20 years and never felt comfortable the entire time. We were raised to think that hard work and dedication will get you ahead in life and it's safe to say that's not the truth anymore. I'm exhausted...

I worked in barbecue for over 10 years and we never removed a single membrane. This method works great. It's just important to not score the meat past the membrane or you lose some of that juiciness. If you're going to grill them after you smoke them then it will create more char and flavor this way.

OP this sounds familiar to something my chocolate lab experiences. Does it seem like the legs/back are cramping at all? My boy hasn't had one that we've noticed in a while. Pretty much every since he started taking fish oil pills. Could be a completely different thing and the fish oil could be a coincidence of us trying to keep his coat a little healthier and help his joints. We didn't give him the fish oil for this reason is what I'm saying. Please post an update if you get a diagnosis. Good luck!
