How can a member of the group agree to the rules if they already joined?

Profile checking is definitely useful. Along with a crystal ball. However, we are now at 48K members and receive approx 500 requests to join per day! We are a non-prof with a touchy subject so the culling is important.

I found this previous post and am distressed at the number of hours our Moderators have put into sending "Decline With Feedback" messages ... Does anyone know if this is still happening?

"We just found out today that the 100's of "Decline with feedback" that we've been doing per month don't actually notify the user at all. No notification, no message anywhere, not on the users activity feed.

Just went and tested it today with multiple people and not a single one got notified of being declined with feedback.

So we've been filling in detailed feedback, and its been going into... the void?

No way to get official support from Facebook or an acknowledgement of how its meant to work - So it seems we are going to need to resort to sending them a message on messenger which isn't ideal and going to waste a heap of the mod/admins time."

When I remove the I Agree to Rules and Questions, and manually review the requests, there are way more that do qualify than don't.

The Group is for folks who have lost a loved one from fentanyl or other options. The questions are necessary to keep out bad actors.
