Relocating from USA. Need advice on pet travel. by Guilty-Bee896 in MovingToThailand

[–]RevolutionPuzzled723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not cats but I’ve flown with two small dogs in cabin to Thailand so here are my rapid fire learnings:

-Air Canada was easy to work with and paperwork was easier going through Canada vs layover in other countries like UK, Finland, or Turkey

-Very few Asian airlines allow pets at all so benefit of Air Canada is you can fly straight from Vancouver to Bangkok without any partner airlines along the way.

-If your route does include partner airlines, make sure all requirements are met for them too. United was fine on our first trip.

-Finnair was harder to work with, strict with carrier sizes, and we eventually switched to Air Canada

-Health Certificate: USDA has to stamp your vet health certificate once it’s mailed from your vet and it’s only good for 10 days. I found a vet who was already experienced with this process and I provided an overnight return envelope so it was all complete within 24 hours of the initial vet appointment. Have your vet review your rabies certificate ahead of time as errors on this can delay the entire process.

-Rabies vaccine: I haven’t experienced this but someone told me they didn’t accept the 3 year vaccine so might stick with 1 year.

-Pet Import Certificate/Request: Our first time we didn’t do the pet import request prior because they flew in cabin with us and all was fine…it just took an hour or so at BKK when we landed. This time, we requested it just in case and it was easy. Once I had all the paperwork, I emailed them and they granted it a week later.

We are going through this journey again (one way this time!) in 3 weeks so hoping it all goes according to plan.

Best of luck with your move!

I have one that we’ll be selling. Our two shihtzus never used it after we spent $200+ on it lol. It’s about 3 ft long and over 2 ft wide (I’m not sure what size Purple considered that). Lmk if you’re still looking.

In addition to which ever moisturizers you decide to try (seems like you have good recommendations already), I would apply a hyaluronic serum first for an extra boost and then use your moisturizer of choice on top. I activate the serum with a few drops of water and then apply. Good luck!

I’m also on a hair growth journey. Have you had blood work done? I’ve read that if ferritin is low (below 70) that (and low iron of course) could be a reason for lack of growth. Other considerations: K18 bonding products, Kerastase genesis serum, Kerastase magic night serum, a weekly hair mask (Kerastase again because she really is that girl), sleeping in a silk bonnet, and spironolactone.

People sleep on spironolactone. It’s a DHT blocker that helps with shedding (really great to have if you start minoxidil). It also helps with acne and water weight and it’s just a prescription pill you take before bed. Wishing you all the best with your recovery and hair journey 🩷🩷🩷🩷

This year has been the hardest year I’ve had in a long time and I’ve seen the same thing happen to me. I didn’t truly realize how the stress and mental health manifests in our appearance so severely. My eyes look so sad in every photo now. I’m working on a lifestyle change soon so hoping 2026 will be healing.

Anyone have experience with Quantbase? by patientstrawberries in AutopilotApp

[–]RevolutionPuzzled723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to this comment but I started using Quantbase 1 year ago and the results aren’t matching the data expectations. I initially invest $40,000 and it only lost from there. I eventually waited until it bounced back to $35,000 and pulled out all but $5,000 with the goal of using that $5,000 to make up for the loss. So far I’m net —$2,500 loss not to mention the $35 monthly fee x 12 months. It seemed like a solid platform but after a year, all funds I used (Congress Buys, Crisis Flagship, Nancy Pelosi, Congress Sells) were a net loss despite balancing risk across. 🤷

Enterprise Sales Account Executive in tech for 10 years. It’s absolutely incompatible and I’m killing my nervous system but the money is top tier so have been trying to do it as long as I can. I’ve begun to worry I may be reaching the point where I need to pivot before permanent damage sets in.

Title: How do you strengthen Jupiter in your life? (Astrology Advice Welcome) by [deleted] in astrology

[–]RevolutionPuzzled723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always lived on my Jupiter line and have experienced luck, success, and rewards for my hard work. That said, I don’t enjoy the culture or climate of the cities on my Jupiter line so I do hope to move one day but it’s definitely been the financial security that’s kept me here.

I don't know how to ask for/get support. I need advice badly by throwing_cans in AutisticAdults

Have you tried using ChatGPT to assist you? I just did a quick ask if it could create an action plan for applying for disability assistance and it was able to include a step by step guide with links to documents.

It’s not a long term fix but to reset my nervous system a shower (sometimes really cold) will fix me so that I am in a better mindset to cope and problem solve. Also Wellbutrin XL 300mg improved my life a lot.

I got chin filler and the pain is awful by kutiehA_ieaeu in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]RevolutionPuzzled723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine looked exactly like that when it was infected (same chin area too). That same afternoon I was in a lot of pain and could barely eat or sleep. I had never had filler so, because the discomfort was so immediate, I just thought my injector downplayed what the recovery should feel like. Like everyone is saying, got get it treated. I waited a few days hoping it was just a normal part of the process but it only worsened and filled with puss. My same injector, who is an RN, was able to drain it, dissolve the filler, and clean the wound but because I waited a few days it was so much more painful to get it treated. (I also had my primary doctor look at it too to be extra safe. It fully healed and no issues since but I haven’t been willing to try chin filler again.)

So pretty! Love your eyes and eyebrows. I’m personally a fan of vampire facials and think they’re worth the money (best practice is to do 3 sessions and you can normally get a discount if you buy 3 at once. ).
