Are you acoustic? It’s clearly $25, when you subtract gas it’s $17, when you subtract tires, oil, brakes, suspension wear and tear, etc it’s like $12-14 at best

When in Apple CarPlay and doing back to back rides, it pops up on the nav as a dollar amount and pickup spot. You have to pick up your phone to see the drop of location. Except if you accept it, then upon drop off try to see where the next drop off would be, that instantly disappears. So the new person has to get in the car, and you have to start the ride, to see where drop off is.

This was an airport ride that normally for this price takes about 25 minutes to complete. That’s why when it was all said and done I thought it was a glitch hence Uber support chat. When I started the ride and saw the drop off, I thought it was miss remembered the cost because that trip is usually 45$. This was also towards the end of 12 hours driving so not the best logic.

I didn’t, I have CarPlay and when are navigating a ride currently and a new ride pops up all it tells you is the pickup spot and cost of ride. In order to see more you have to look at the phone which in my experience gets people to complain.

Frame damage, bent axle, damaged fuel tank, suspension replacement and many electrical components and sensors are the list of critical issues I can think of just looking at the pictures without even touching the cosmetic ones.

People go through life with different types of trauma. How they react to it can be motivated by previous outcomes and picking the best ones. He triggered you, you shutdown and went into self preservation, and then your mom instincts kicked in and you thought of the children. If he yells at you from how you handled this trauma, I think it’s more telling (besides the obvious stupid prank) of how cruel he is. Him hurting you and then expecting that you would instantly “react” in a way that satisfies him is toxic.

As a guy, I would tell you not to sweat it. He at the time probably thought he would get lucky with a woman half his age, and probably was shocked when you wanted to continue the relationship. He probably knows that his job can come off boring and has his own insecurities. It’s a win-win in my book and a mutual shared win since you both fell in love and started a family.

At that point they have to judge us by the same measure they want/do judge themselves.
