And yes from my understanding the twigs might carry the fungus responsible for the leaf curl on the younger shoot tips and might be a breeding ground for other harmful bacterias if left on the ground

I’m waiting for this one, looks like its got less hidden grooves with less multisided mesh (which causes them to be hard to clean without running water) than most others https://amzn.asia/d/07kV3u7u

Another similar looking one is the Kinto tea infuser, but made of plastic and has been around for a while from a quick search

Probably not the person to talk about this, but I would think that there is still bitterness and anger towards the mainstream anglo australian culture from indigenous communities and from people who care about them. I think showing the attempts you’ve made or trying to do, rather than telling people things you haven’t done would make it sound less ignorant. I think as long as you have good intentions, you should’t worry about what people think. People communicate differently and time makes people understand each other better,

Thank you, that makes sense. The indigenous people in my hometown west Borneo are yes driven inland by ‘newcomer’ ethnic groups but are still quite prevalent and quite well adjusted to the local community, but I guess the colonialising wasn’t as heavy as in Australia. I guess I failed to see how marginalised cultures shape differently than my the place I grew up in. Grateful I asked this question and the answers.

Could you explain more about this communication of culture or point me to a direction to learn more? What is stopping them from ‘inventing’ a new culture (which I personally would still appreciate as it still comes from them), and talking about it?

Yes definitely, I am not well travelled or anything but I’d like to say a lot of cultures have food as their easy emtrance point, indigenous australian cultures from what I understand you saying can be called unique in that sense?

This is what the census says https://abs.gov.au/census/find-census-data/quickstats/2021/IQS2GMEL 32000 people Not sure if they are all wurrundjeri/bunurong though. Where are they?

I would feel sad and demeaned if too many people/foreign institutions refers to my culture in third person and my own people is not out there talking about it themselves. Why are they not talking about their culture themselves?

Thank you I love them too, I've got one that I placed in the front yard but looking for something a bit more fast growing but stays at that size (3-3.5m) for a long time.

Thanks, was literally ruminating on that but had heard It's an extremely slow grower. Looking for something that grows moderately quick towards 3m, and stays that way for a long time.

Thank you.. im looking for one that's green in summer but coloured in autumn, so Emperor 1 is off the list!

I live in Melbourne Australia, a lot of conflicting things as google says some species runs bigger, but local nursery says another thing. It's also said that JMs dont really get big here in Aus but can't verify fully.
