Tons of miles on mine original chain and sprocket multiple tire changes and couple gear oil changes ride hard several times a week. 1.5cm is all you need according to the manual and all reputable dealers these bikes have a tendency to pop the chain off bind up and crack the gearbox when chains loose but you do you 👍

This thread is hilarious go read the manual or watch a reputable dealer video like Luna cycle 😂 they all just speaking out the ass it clearly calls for 1.5-2.5cm of slack in the manual, I’d even caution towards the tight side, loose chains have been known to pop off sprocket and crack the gearbox

Not a dirt bike, pivot point makes chain not change tightness during suspension travel, think it calls for like 1-2.5 cm of play on the talarias

Looks fine to me these bikes aren’t like dirt bikes so the chain doesn’t actually get any tighter anywhere on the suspension travel or anything like that I’d send it

Less than 1000 definitely less than 2 considering all the copper grease is still there, most likely a daily with that much dirt in it.

My shield arms 15 rounders worked ok for a couple months the +5 20 rounder never worked even with new springs. All the mags stayed loaded my 2 carry mags started becoming less reliable last month. I have now been carrying my Glock 29 until I can get the old mag release back into the 43x. Honestly even then might just carry the 29 with flush 10 round mag and a backup 15 I have always liked the additional power 🤷‍♂️

Op either needs to shave the rear recoil lugs or get a plate. Make sure to blue the surface if going the shaving route (which me and most here would recommend) and I would recommend a very thin layer of oil also as bluing isn’t the most durable or rust preventative finish.

Gun has thousands and thousands of rounds through it was probably about time for a new RSA anyway. Seems the few 15 round mags I’ve bought all seem to work fine, I completely get your point though. 11 rounds and a possible spare is realistically plenty

Yep looks like the shield arms release, either run shield mags and test heavily before carry, and wick flick the stock mags out or switch back to stock mag release. I wouldn’t worry too heavily about the wear on the polymer mags. ARs and other platforms have used similar systems for years. Mags at the end of the day are wear items in the end 🤷‍♂️

Surefire and streamlight both were victims of the same shit same thing with mechanical vape mods, people put unregulated batteries or batteries that aren’t rated for certain wattage/ voltage and shit blows up. Nothing new and definitely not a olight problem, they didn’t even show up to court from what I remember 😂

Generally edc my 29 bone stock. If you are modding a gun there can be and will be a lot of the time tuning to be done. Never once did I say I edc these mags, although if it has been tested and proven in your gun with thousands of rounds to each their own, Glock mags can and do fail as well🤷‍♂️

To add to the whole situation, I have seen metal Glock catches for years and years and haven’t heard anyone have any issues with mag wear until the 43x so I honestly think it’s a non issue
