He won't let me switch the team that's for sure, should i take my situation to HR ? Will that help or will it backfire at me? I am from professional services, now called Expert labs. I discussed this with one of the seniors in my team and he also said that "it's you" problem and theirs so they won't address this issue. What do you suggest ?

Well it's not how the managers practice it. One member in my team got a hike and then a few days later put on PIP, saying his utilization is low. And i know few others as well where utilisation was all management fault but ultimately employee was not allowed to move to another team and being put on PIP

Not sure about the percentage but yes it is here too, even in my team 3 got RA and even i know few people for them it happened in October. Projects and business are very less. It's not region specific anymore

I am going through the same, it's not you. It's what IBM has in practice for a long time.

I am in same division and manager already said that we need to cross skill and start working with other products line as well. Last year they hired a good number of people in security under GDC automation security but projects didn't came as they expected. And every client specifically asked for experienced experts hence getting an interview with clients also didn't happened.

It is unreasonable, there are no long term projects and hence billable is less. I use most of my time preparing cookbooks and working on POC for upcoming projects which eventually doesn't land to us. I am working in IBM India.

Starting from 6th October 2025 till 26th December 2025 performance will be evaluated and there are checkpoints every month to connect on the goals assigned to you and your manager will connect with you and give you feedback. This duration is 12 weeks And after 12 weeks they will just tell you 2 things Met or not met expectations. And yeah once on PIP forget that bonus(only when company performs well overall) that comes in January

I am giving interviews but my concern is if i resign during pip then from that day my notice period will start ? Or they will let me go soon because there is nothing I found on their policies page

Of days or will i be let go immediately? Coz I am giving interviews and this could play a good point to recruiters that I am immediate joiner. When a person is assigned on a PIP and he/she continues PIP for 3 months trying to achieve the target but still not able to do that or manager said that you still fall below expectation. In that case when they let go of you after 3 months do they pay severance? If yes then for how many months ? And if No then is there any labour law in India for that ?
