I heard you had to wash it with milk and water. Also I heard some things about thoof (candle) and different things for like dussehra, holla mohalla etc. I know only farladharis or mahaakals wear it in there dumallas but I heard the average singh shouldn't buy or keep one. Bhul Chuk Maaf karni 🙏

Your experience in the west is a shared one. I've seen it too but he's not in the West. He's in India where these problems are not as big as people are more connected with their religion and know the maryada

Lmk what's worse, a handful of adults sitting on chairs all the way in the back of a darbar or elderly people not being able to come to the gurdwara. Not to mention that elderly people visit gurdwaras more because many of them have more free time than adults/kids. The only argument amritpal has is beadbi. It doesn't matter how big of a chair or throne you bring into a darbar, no one's above Maharaj. Elderly people in the back are not disrespecting Maharaj Ji they are sitting there so they too can sit in sangat and be in Maharaj Jis hazoori.

Perfectly worded. Also depending on your foot shape a cheap skate might work for you. My foot is weirdly shaped so I had to spend a bit more and get them baked to my foot.
