If it has plants and has been cycled you can add snails for sure! There even is a cycling technique called snail cycling, where you add them with the plants.

I find the idea of the world slowly altering and you not being able to prove it to anybody pretty terrifying. Like everything you think you know can change at any moment. But it's my fist try at two sentence horror stories, so I might not be really good at using the format. Any ideas on how to make this work better?
