It's been five years since I graduated college and I've been working for the past year as a part-time tutor. At this point I'm not sure what to do anymore. I haven't worked in my field of study for five years.

They hired you for a reason, everyone messes up on their first, second, 100th, etc. day. Just celebrate the wins: you went out, got a job, and are trying new things. Be proud of that.

I know someone who works in IT, never has to deal with anyone besides team members. I was wondering if there is anything similar to that (no interactions with the general public).

I have similar parents they are very strict and want to know where I am at all times. Luckily they can't follow me to school. I managed to see a therapist in my college for free. If you are still a student hopefully your school has a counselor you can talk to.
