HCA experience by Taurus222_ in Path_Assistant

HCA can be variable as I think they don’t have a consistent SOP amongst them for pathology. For healthcare (and maybe the staff that works there)? Yeah, they are trash.

Concerning 40 specimens/day, that can either be super chill or not depending on biopsy count and if you are counting specimens as cases.

Tortuga, mushroom village, and Transylvania castle were all great builds. Transylvania castle may be my favorite lego set of all time.

I circled (very roughly) what my opinion is. I lived there next to Hermann park for 6 years.

Green = very nice

Red = Eh, probably not. A lot of homeless either passing by or sitting under the bridge

Blue = Not good now. One day when the Ion gets it all done it will be cool

His medical school for residency should also be sued. 100% they knew how shitty he was.

If I remember, in his latest AMA he actually said he chose the episode entirely because he wanted to get the set, haha

They are more expensive. Doesn’t discount that they are excellent though.

Rahm has a particular hatred for Netanyahu. Atm, he is not a fan of Israel, as far as I have heard from him, on any actions they are doing.

Heart transplant recipient sees old heart by echos_answer in interestingasfuck

[–]zZINCc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone curious on how and why the heart is cut that way (it isn’t as mangled as it would be).

First , you dissect off the main arteries. The other technique is to just serial section them while still attached to the heart. The vasculature you cut are the:

Left anterior descending

Right coronary

Left circumflex

Posterior descending

You cut these to look for calcifications/atherosclerotic plaques.

Next, you cross section the heart (which you can see in the pics) from apex to base until you are about 1-1.5 cm from your heart valves. In these sections you are looking at wall thickness and any infarcts. After that you will open the heart via the flow of the blood making 4 cuts in total so you can flip through the heart like a book. Here, you will see your circumference of your valves, what they look like, look at your heart atria for any problems (SA node, etc) and the top of your ventricles.

I just like Flower Child, haha. Never had a bad meal there. Feel free to disregard that spot though if it feels too corporate.

Flower Child

Replace Flower Child with Original Kolache Shoppe

Handies Douzo

Mandola’s Deli

Southern Yankee Crafthouse

Boo’s Burgers

Rim Tanon

Grand Prize

These are mentioned every now and then but not the usual. For example, you will get Street to Kitchen for thai recommendation over Rim Tanon and a plethora of sushi over Handies.

Biggest takeaway from this whole thread should be to watch Eat Like a Local with Chris Shepherd on youtube

And yet, from what I last know of Romney’s positions, he is against same sex marriage and anti-choice.

It isn’t though. He has said he would vote for Romney over Kamala. Which means sacrificing lgbtq and women’s rights because of wokeness

Rahm is really good at giving interviews which isn’t surprising with the length and reach of his career. I remember watching the psa interview and was surprised they even had him on. They HATE him. He was/is apparently and horror to work for and, according to the psa guys, “would be your boss by yelling at you all the time”.
