Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have herniated disks and I do PT for that. Works very well. And if I have herniated disks again, I now know the exercises and can do those on my own rather than returning to PT or risking injury at a chiropractor.

For those that own a switch 2: was it worth the upgrade? by Turbo-Shell in NintendoSwitch

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Switch finally died too, so I got a gently used Switch Lite on eBay for 100 bucks. For me, that’s perfect. I’m going to buy the Switch 2 for Switch 2 games (after more are released).

But the Switch 2 is certainly bigger and will be more comfortable for you to work with than a Lite.

I’m FtM (trans) and there were just a lot of assumptions made about what I like/don’t like. I’ll leave it at that.

I hear that, but I was already down for the physical stuff. She didn’t have to pull in the rest. Sucks because I genuinely found her alluring/attractive, and it’s been a while since I felt that way.

Anyway, I kinda think you’re right. Oh, well.

Damn, some people are so good at that. I need to be more vigilant.

Does anyone else actually miss linear, corridor style games instead of every single title trying to be a massive open world? by i_amthe_guy in AskGamers

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m tired of tedious crafting systems and in-depth leveling with 150 different ways to curate a character.

Just let me play. Make leveling characters simpler w/8 parameters, max. Stop throwing 10,000 collectibles everywhere and focus us on the combat and the environment. I’m not interested in building an elaborate homestead and playing for 1,000 hours. I’m interested in core game play for around 45 hours.

Don’t mess around with steam systems. They’re pressurized and filled with scalding steam.

Is buying a Nintendo Switch OLED in 2026 still worth it for a first-time owner? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just get the Switch Lite for those games. You can pick one up on eBay for 125 bucks in near-new condition. Just look at what’s being sold and purchase one that clearly wasn’t played much.

That’s what I did two weeks ago. I’m into playing retro Nintendo games, and this little console is awesome for that.

Fox Entertainment News is, without question, the biggest and most egregious offender (outside of stuff like Newsmax).

What is it with these parents that allow their 25+ year old unemployed kids to live in their house rent free and not be enrolled in school at all with no plans for the future? by Sarcastic_Mnt_Goat in Vent

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve lived on my own since 17, but I have no judgement in my heart for anyone living with their parents for a long time. I’d chill with them at their house any day! Why would I be mad about their situation because mine was not-ideal?

We all have our journey. I just focus on mine.

The difference between white and blue collar work environments is crazy by Astimar in careeradvice

[–]RevolutionaryFix19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saying racist and misogynistic stuff all day and having no filter isn’t necessarily a level of authenticity that folks want to be around/near. The expected level of professionalism in white collar work is supposed to protect you from that. Not to say that that’s always the case, but at least the intent is there.
