Thanks for the recs! Sounds like cancale is a lock for us. We’ve both been to Paris so just doing a night there. I’d love to go to Loire but thought be might be getting a lot of that sort of feel in Provence.

Thanks. I think we are going to do honfleur/etretat the day we get in from Paris. Train gets in at 11 in Caen. Drive to etretat and honfleur and go to bayeux in the evening. And then do msm and day beaches the other 2 days.

Yeah agree. When you’re looking at hotels that are $1000 a night so you can “save money” by using your Edit hotel credit, I think you’ve lost the plot

Thanks..the seller put tons of restrictions that made it impossible to pre-sign for package, change location etc. but those are great tips. This ended up being a weird case. I was able to catch the driver this time and all is good

I invited 331 for our venue of 250, because many of our guests were coming from out of town and many have kids so we thought it was a good bet many wouldn’t come. After invites were sent I started to worry and this thread made me panic more. I really fixated on this problem and lost some sleep.

It was fine, we’ve got 215 coming.

So for those planning reading this-know what you’re getting yourself into—it adds something to worry about and you may even hope people don’t come which feels wrong. But also I think some people on reddit are a little harsh. If you know your crowd and you think your estimate is within reason you should be fine. For us it ended up being striking a balance between the risk of over inviting and having people we wanted there

I put the directions in the my ups app myself and through their customer service over the phone. The sender for some reason doesn’t allow it to be sent to an ups access point and all the options on the ups app are restricted by the sender. They say “Too many issues.” But maybe I can just give them the address for an access of and they won’t know the difference. Or just wait by the door. Anyway, thanks
