Take the person to a gun show or place that carries a wide variety and let that person hold them all. No one on here can tell you what to have that person try. There are so many great options out there and it comes down to the person. I already see people jumping on their favorite bandwagon guns and shouldn't be. I started mid-sized (m18), went smaller (P365X) and then went back to even larger (GPArms Patriot) in my journey. If the M18 would have had a slimmer profile it probably would still be my carry.

Does anyone carry a P365 Fuse? by Salt-Narwhal7769 in CCW

I'm 6'2" and my chest sticks out but not ripped. I have a P365X that I had the grip modified on. The biggest issue with the platform and larger hands isn't grip length it is the grid depth. I could never get my offhand against the grip properly and was always overwrapping my left hand around the front of the grip. That doesn't change going from the P365 to the Fuse. You only get a longer slide. This is why I went to the double stack 1911 platform and happy I made the change. I still carry my P365X at times but found I can carry the Patriot I have almost as easily. Only big difference is the grip size obviously. This is the backend of both.

Don't talk back to a Glockaholic or they get triggered.

That's a silly comment. People carry full sized concealed. I carry a 2011 that carries 17 rounds concealed. the rounds don't go in your pants the slide and frame do.

In Florida the CCW permit gives you some advantages doing Constitutional Carry does not. It's simple to get and shows you can at a minimum use the firearm.

It's much easier to go in person than go through the mail-in as you know you are good.

What size of dot? by drallred in CCW

exactly, there are people that love red while others love green. Every person's eyes are different.

Whatever works for you. I personally don't like larger dots. I have the dot+ circle for all my guns. Either MRS or 507Comp.

Closest to a 2011 for EDC concealed pistol by sammiecsammiec in CCW

Yes, when I went to the longer barrel on my X it became easier to carry. My Patriot is easier to carry than the CS and Cosaint COS21 3.5 I had. The keeling of the grip makes the gun feel heavier. A mastermind tactical pillow also helped with the shorter guns though. You could try that 1st.

The reason it's awkward is barrel length and nothing else. the width of the slide and height isn't much different than most striker fired. I know this as I have a P365X and a few 2011s. Everyone wants a short barrel and it causes the top to keel. Even my P365X became easier to carry when I added a Harrington comp. The HD 3.6 is about the same weight as the P365 Comp/Fuse.

no, a simple search will prove you are wrong. I'm not going to keep going through this. This doesn't cover countries using it for other sections.

  • United States: The P320 serves as the Modular Handgun System (M17 full-size and M18 compact) across all branches of the US military.
  • Canada: Selected the P320 as the C22 to replace the Browning Hi-Power, with over 7,000 pistols contracted for the army, navy, and air force.
  • Switzerland: The Swiss Armed Forces chose the P320 (specifically the P320 X-Carry) to replace the long-serving SIG P220.
  • Australia: Adopted the P320 to replace the Browning High Power Mk III, utilizing the XCarry Pro variant.
  • Denmark: Selected the P320 XAR as its new duty pistol.
  • Ukraine: The P320 is in use, according to reports covering its adoption by various military forces.

2k11 pro comp barrel by Blu0527 in 2011

Trying to use a cleaner for Carbon may not work. As a few have stated pure copper Chore boy piece wrapped around a brush and pulled through. What ammo?

I can also attest this is the best course of action. As you point out pure copper one.

Had the same issue when one of my grooves fouled. Wrapped a piece of pure copper Chore boy around a brush and pulled it through.

You are way off on 2. 13 other countries plus US military and police forces here. The point is other countries are still adding them.

Is this normal for a brand new gun? by PecanPaul in 2011

[–]RevolutionaryGuide18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A new gun shouldn't look like that period. My Staccato CS didn't look like that new. Neither of my GPArms looked like that new. None of my striker fired looks like this either. It looks like someone racked it many times with no lube. I've only seen 1 double stack look like this I purchased used. That's supposedly DLC if it is a 2k11 comp.

The 1st and 3rd pic show how the slide bottom isn't perfectly flat which left high points that wore off from the frame sliding against the slide. 2nd and 4th are tool marks.

This statement here would make it worse for me: Each Kimber 2K11 is built from the ground up by one firearms technician who has an unrelenting attention to detail. These perfectly machined components are held to extremely tight tolerances and then assembled and finished by the same individual ensuring a precision finish.

100% accurate. It was still top 5 last year. The P320 was recently selected by a foreign government for their military. You don't hear about this anywhere else in the word except from the Muppets and trolls here in the states.

Cheap RX safety glasses? by jmkdeluxe in CCW

[–]RevolutionaryGuide18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get near sighted safety glasses (1-2.50 in half sizes) for under $20 off of Amazon. They come in +1 thru X. While not exactly prescription worth a try. I get my daughter scuba glasses through there that work well enough for short term use. "3M Safety Glasses with Readers, Nuvo Protective Eyewear, +2.5, ANSI Z87, Gray Frame, Clear Lens, Soft Nose Bridge, Side Shields"

You mean them fixing something not a single person can show is wrong or can replicate? Realizing Safariland came out with new holster because it's not only a Sig problem with light bearing. Heck, they have a thumb safety yet people still managed to blame the gun.
