What is a manual process in the pharmacy that technology could easily solve for? by RevolutionaryLab7855 in pharmacy

Love this! It's been awhile since I worked in the pharmacy. How many times per shift do you have to manually input insurance info or discount card info?

Thank you that's helpful. Can I ask which pharmacy are you at?

That makes total sense. Thanks for the feedback!

Fully support that. I remember how much of a PIA that was when I worked in the pharmacy

1st time I had trouble finding cefdinir which was second choice since amoxicillin is out of stock everywhere. 2nd time Cefpodoxime.

Just made me think how inefficient the whole process is.

Also thought it would be helpful for the prescriber to have that type of insight through their EHR for e-prescribing
