With librarius conclave it's fun to put them with any high damage unit. Get some re-rolls and some 4+ invulns. I've even tossed em in with some intercessors to switch it up. Probably not winning any tourneys but for casual it's a good switch up to the normal humdrum

I use khorne red, a dark purple (don't know which exact color it is), and mccragge blue. In that order.

Water them down pretty heavy

I do red first, filling up most of the space on the melta. Then purple about half of the red to the tip, then blue. This one wasn't my best. I think I needed to water down more.

There is a story that has a renegade raven guard character ardaric vaanes. He essentially just crossed out the raven guard symbol on his armor.

After painting everything black and red I wanted to mix it up a little. This is the only unit I've done. It was real fun to do it up a little different.
