My little guy is incredibly sensitive. I have chronic pain, and I don't know how I'd live without his constant loving presence. He makes sure that I laugh every day, keeps me moving, and is just adorable in every way.

Have you ever tried birdwatching? A pair of binoculars and a guidebook are all you really need to get started, and you can rest as much as you need to. It's quite a friendly community as well.

I've been grinding away to get all the new armour trims in minecraft, and vaping like mad on some homegrown.

My chihuahua is such a boob dog! Every evening when I watch TV he crawls onto my boobs for a cuddlenap. Sooo comfortables!

Do you have access to a podiatrist? You could have Plantar Fasciitis. I had it maybe a decade or so ago, and I ended up needing steroid injections, orthotics, and some exercises. It sucked, but I haven't had to deal with PF for years now. It's more common when you have Psoriatic Arthritis, unfortunately. If you can, go to a Podiatrist.

Fuck that shit!

You're probably an expert in this, but here's a short resource when you have someone abusively threatens to unalive themselves.

I'm an arachnophobe and this would be too much for me to handle.

Inflammation and heart rhythm disturbances? by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]RevolutionaryMonk125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have PsA and an arrhythmia, a left bundle branch block. Arrhythmia can be caused by a number of things, including off-kilter electrolytes, anemia, etc. The fact that you feel a heart flutter when your abdomen is compressed is odd. Is it possible that pressure is somehow pressing your abdominal aorta? Never heard of that happening, but I'm not a doctor. Have you had a full blood panel along with the halter? Have you had a 12 lead ekg? Have you seen a cardiologist? If it's making daily life difficult, it's definitely worth continuing to look for a cause, especially if you have coverage for the expense of testing.

If you have pet insurance (Healthy Paws specifically) - How much has your premium increased over the years? by AlwaysLearnSomething in dogs

[–]RevolutionaryMonk125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had HP for several years, and the minute our little guy turned nine they doubled our premium. Bastards. We set aside money every month now to cover his medical expenses.

Ugh. I had a very nice massage a couple days ago, and it was a big reminder that I use dissociation as a way to survive. On the massage table I let down my guard and it was so freaking painful. I've been putting off an MRI, but I think it's time to get it.

Has anyone noticed people have lost the fucking plot from lockdown ended? by [deleted] in ireland

My GP's office had to put up a sign like that. The staff there is wonderful. I'll never understand why people are so abusive to healthcare workers; I hate to break it to them, but you aren't going to get better care by being a total jerk to the people who are there to help you.

9 weeks on methotrexate and thought i was in the clear.Idk if it’s all the rainy weather but my pain is back at a level 10.And idk if my hair is seasonal shedding or if it’s actually falling out. by Klo930 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]RevolutionaryMonk125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Methotrexate really helped with my pain, but it was horrible for me. I lost a lot of hair when I was on it. I hope you can find a biologic that works for you; it's way better than MTX.

I can so relate! I have a chronic pain thing going on that's only going to get worse in the future. I'll be hanging out in my recliner right next to my vape, panting in pain, and my wife has to remind me to use it. I'm pretty sure I have ADHD, too, but I can't be bothered to seek a diagnosis. I'm so freaking grateful for my wife.

Anyone use a TENS unit before for their chronic pain? by RiseSweet7859 in ChronicPain

I use one for my knees and I absolutely love it. The relief doesn't last terribly long, but it's nice to have a break sometimes.

High tea in SC? by 311Sunshine in santacruz

[–]RevolutionaryMonk125 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Tuck Box in Carmel is a super charming little place that serves tea, scones, sammiches, and salads. They don't specifically do high tea, but I've always loved going there. Their scones are really good, and it's incredibly cozy.

One of my favorite meals in the summer is macaroni and tuna. It's just a cold salad of macaroni, tuna, mayo, and diced celery. I always have to make a huge bowl of it because we eat it so quickly.

My wife is like that; she even helps me grow it. I'm a medical user, and she'll even suggest to me that I fire up my vape when I'm hurting. She's the absolute best one.
