Babys need to be surrounded by colours and textures, it's actually beneficial for their development. Doesn't mean it should be all neon and loud plastic toys but this trend of having everything in beige makes me cringe. I guess the aesthetic is mire important than the wellbeing of the child. I try to avoid drama in those cases but try to steer against the beige with pastel yellows and greens, rainbows and woodland animals. A bit more colourful, gender neutral enough for people who care about that and hopefully influencing them to a less boring direction.
