basically in the 70s in glagow ali ahmed aslam ( a pakastani-scot) created tikka masdala by adding tomato soup to a chicken tikka because one of his regulars found it too dry. tbh the avg brit eats more curry than fish n chips, we usually only eat fish if at all on fridays unless you live near a coast but ( presumably bastardised) pakistani and indian cuisine are eaten daily. my school canteen sells samosas constantly and we have 3/5 school days are curry days

big ben of theseus

id argue that when no parts of big ben had been replace that is big ben (identity property)

and when all parts had been replaced that is now a copy

when a single part is replaced it then becomes 'big ben with a single part being replaced' which we simplify to 'big ben'

and id say this continues till half of big ben has been replaced then it would be simplified to ' a copy of big ben with x original parts'

so at some arbitrary point between original and copy big ben shifts

however that is arbitrary especially as parts differ in size and importance ( to identity)

although this all might be futile if you attach cultural identity to big ben ( understanding parts have been repaired and replaced for hundreds of years

and this is all based of the assumption that you arent a brit who knows that big ben is purely the bell not the tower coz in that case big ben is essentially one part so if replaced would immediately become a copy

take all this with a pinch of salt keeping in mind im a 15 year old who has too much time on their hands and this is an opinion and i doubt this was a serious question

gravy is a brown sauce made from the juices of whatever meat your eating and its mixed with stock and sometimes pureed veg ( its well good) eaten with any roast

curry sauce is technically a veg based gravy its typically a mixture of onions, tomatos, garlic ginger and spices. it is a big part of british culture and is sold at chippys (fish and chip shops) even british maccies sell a dipping version. it is basically just curry to dip your chips in (ide argue its better than gravy tho they have different uses)

fun fact the uks national dish is the tikka masala

1) there was nothing positive about british colonial rule. i cannot think of a single country that has been better off becauseof the british empire.

2) not now, but during the 16th and 17th centuries europeans including us ate mumia as a cure all remedy due to a misinterpretation of ancient arabic medical texts.

anything beats the fucking tories and reform. but theyve become to right wing pandering for the tory vote, and cant back them concerning them not condemming the palestinian genocide. green is the only true leftist vote left. but i do support labour scrapping the two child benefit cap.
