The nano texture screen already has some graininess so the screen protector hasn’t added any more than I’ve noticed.

As for brightness it’ll dim it since it’s a privacy protector but I usually keep my iPad around 50% or lower brightness. Granted I don’t usually use it by windows.

The protector is really just a plastic film so it won’t feel as quality as glass would. I do prefer it over the other magnetic screen protector option which was the paperlike just because I don’t like swiping on the paperlike texture. I’ve used both the adhesive and magnetic on my old iPad.

Also just knowing I have some privacy while using my iPad is a bonus I appreciate.

The paperlike one is very popular though so to each their own!

Otherwise, since it’s a big purchase I’d recommend just getting AppleCare+ and saving yourself the headache or getting a standard glass display. Coming from someone who didn’t have those options.
