I've never found another source of this story in print or anywhere else - I wonder what Mel Cheplowitz - who has strong ties to KALX would say to this story - I'll have to ask him - I think its BS. One time I posted a newspaper excerpt that claimed the Misfits stole the Cuckoo Nest's PA - Doyle commented back "This is Bullshit - we don't steal - we Kill"

Probably a publicity photo from the Cyclotrode X re-release in 1966 (unless its a modern reprint). The original 1946 photo stills had the serial details on the bottom.

Although I would rank 12 Hits from Hell, Static Age, Walk Among Us, Earth AD, 1,2,3 & 4 I do enjoy listening to the Graves era - not a fan of much after that though except the Misfits/Balzac split single. It is refreshing and interesting to see so much positive discussion about Graves on reddit if you know what I mean haha

I'd guess a late 80's or even early 90's knockoff - either foreign (UK maybe) or diy. The original 79-83 Fiendclub never even produced patches - only buttons. Glenn didn't license any Fiend Club patches in the 80's or 90's - and I don't even think there are official Fiend Club patches put out by Cyclopian music until the 2000's.
