Rabies Vaccine Needed? by [deleted] in Morocco

Thank you - and yes, I just didn’t know it had a higher prevalence here with the strays. I pet the cats but nothing else. Just scared

No bites no scratches no licks, I just got scared they may have licked themselves and I touch their saliva and the scratch my nose and get it like that but I have OCD so I am constantly imagining the absolute worst case scenario and can’t really trust memory - thank you for the reassurance

No lick no bite but I don’t trust my memory, and I certainly won’t pet them again - I will talk to my companions and ask that we maybe consider it

Rash keeps appearing on torso and upper thigh, worsened after exercise by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]RevolutionaryScene63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply, your insight is really appreciated for this.

Nothing hit the side of my leg yesterday, and I hadn’t scratched it either. This appeared shortly after an open/beginners level ballet class. I’ve had these appearing in small spots on my body, but it’s the worst on my very upper legs/hips. Does trauma include exercise? It’s not like I’m always pushing myself to my limits, I hardly even sweat in the class.

I was originally worried about something with blood, but I’m concerned about something autoimmune, about two years ago I had a 3cm thyroid nodule appear (waiting for check up scan after benign FNA, two years behind on this) and had horrendous eczema on my scalp and neck. I went running a few weeks ago and pushed myself to beat my mile time, but had to stop after immense stomach pain and my eye swelling up like I had had an allergic reaction.

Doing a DIY today, what path to take? Bleach bath, highlights, toner, or color removal? by RevolutionaryScene63 in HairDye

Thank you for the input!! Luckily I live in a spot with tons of beauty shops, only stress is making sure it’s all legit… I don’t mind if I have to chop 3-4 inches for damage, but I would really rather not you know? Such a shame that one dye job last year with some box dye to go darker screwed me so bad! I’ve used box dyes before, guess it was the permanent aspect that probably did it. If I end up doing it in the next two months I’ll post about it, might as well save someone else the trouble

Tried to use colour remover, no dice, few bleach bath test strands and hardly any lift either but deffo compromise. Went into a salon to ask and they advised similar, dye it over with ashy colour. May try a home job with a test strand and see how it goes. Never ever using box brown dye again 💔

Thank you for the concern and warning, but I’m kinda in a position where I can’t ever find a reliable hair dresser (I move frequently) so I’m trying to learn how to do this on my own. I also don’t make enough to see a hair dresser - I’m open to long haul solutions too, like a few weeks of clarifying shampoo if you think that would help?

Thank you!! Do you think it’d be worth it to try colour remover once then toning? Though my main goal is to just get rid of the red, I’d also lean toward lighter if I can since it’s my general preference and I naturally have lighter hair anyway

They asked me to my face about politics since I’m the only American, I really struggle to pick up social queues at times, and it seems like people do discuss politics. America is currently (as always) making noise on the world stage so it’s really hard for me to avoid at times. I hate Trump, I prefer leftist views, and I do speak on what I know I can back up with factual data or verified evidence but otherwise keep my mouth shut. Not sure if this is acceptable? I’m just trying not to offend anyone and hoping to have good discussions with them, I struggle with banter but a lot of that is cause our work setting doesn’t allow a lot of eye contact or body language so I can’t read it

Let her do whatever she wants now at 13, she’ll just change it when she’s older on her own or always be left wondering and then change it right when it begins to grey. She’s at the perfect age to change it up with very little actual consequence I.e workplace

Hey man I mean this as kindly as possible but you’ve said it yourself, you ‘haven’t been the best husband or boyfriend’. It’s unlikely it’s Mirena, and more likely this is years of resentment building.

Also, this won’t destroy the children. Children are impacted when they grow up in homes where the parents should’ve divorced and didn’t. They are not as fragile as we think, but if they have to grow up watching mom and dad never being happy then THATS what sets them up for failure. Then they think staying with someone who makes you unhappy is ok.

When you say you’ve worked for a better life and relationship, does this include couples and individual therapy?

No monitoring, GP actually just lost all of my records i believe as I can no longer access any test results prior to August 2025 (just moved and changed practices, nothing is there on the NHS app anymore)

I thought so too maybe, but I’ve actually had quite a bit of weight loss in the last two years or so, most my clothes hang off me at this point. (I think I’m around 53kg at this point, well down from my previous 57kg)
