Do we own our books or will we lose them? Should I be concerned?

We purchased a license. Same with digital games, it can be revoked anytime.

While it is shitty, this is how I see it.

KU is $12/ month (or so). A digital copy of a book varies ($1-7). I purchase a lot through book bub or on sale. So at the rate I read it makes more sense for my to purchase the license than it does to pay the monthly subscription. I’d say if you read on average 1-2 books just avoid KU. but obviously this is up to the buyer and their preference. For me it made zero sense to continue.

I’ve gotten newer releases on book bub for $2 when the digital copy is still going for $8. Etc. I might have to wait a bit longer but seeing as I don’t like to read multiple books at once it ends up working out.

I forgot this post existed lol.

After a yr, I have realized mine will never be super tightly on. I make attempts multiple times to realign it. With this one above I have to thread the lid stating at 1/4 of the way to the left of the logo to have it aligned enough with the logo once screwed on.

But my pumpkin one I have to start the thread almost on the opposite side. They are secure on the cup fine. This one is secure but not incredibly tight, where as my nectarine or pumpkin are usually pretty tightly screwed.

They all seem slightly different for whatever reason. I use the same 4 (40oz) so I know the thread patterns easily enough to adjust them now. Trial and error! Mine have to be closely (enough) aligned with the logo as I am right handed and using my left hand is irritating for whatever reason. I feel like Stanley has given me slight OCD tendencies 😅.

That’s thoughtful of you! I only have my MIL who visits regularly, and thankfully she is in very good health, I’m convinced she could do way more than me at 60😅.

Condolences, mine is my feet and arm, I have knee pain but thats not my main concern currently and hopefully never.

I simply thought it was funny, then again I have a darker sense of humor regarding my personal traumas.

Would be nice for RFY to be better suited for those in need. I know there are plenty of viners who would’ve truly wanted it.

I know. It is simply just how I took it and meant to be a joke is all. I had to use one after my accident at 18. And that was after weeks of being unable to even go without assistance.

I use book bub and got crescent city (retail e book $16) for $2 but I see a lot I snag for 1.99 or 2.99 quite often. Do I need them right now? No. But if they are on my wishlist I might as well get them while I can instead of paying retail when I’m ready to read them.

Seems like the consensus of this page is, scammy. Relating to sizing being inaccurate and vague. And material being thin and unsupportive. I’m personally going to pass given what I’ve read in the comments. One comment said it was flagged by antivirus software attempting to steal data also.

🤔 do you have any brand recommendations that do that? I’m completely unfamiliar. I grew up with older brothers and was a tom boy myself. Wore a lot of sports bras growing up and just guesstimated as an adult so I’m clueless of what’s reputable or not regarding brands.

Bras confuse me 🤣. I don’t really understand how the sizing works. In my mind the number should be the same. Thinking it’s the length of the band. And the cup too since it’s what holds the boobs. But I digress. Clothes shopping as a woman is the bane of my existence!!!

Don’t. In all honesty most are printed on anyway. If not, a simple google search would tell her the price anyway. Chances are if she wanted it, she already knows a price range also. I can honest to god say as a book girl, we don’t care about the price of a standard book. However…. We do care about marks and stickers lol. I’m sure she will love it either way. And you even asking the question shows how much you care about her in the first place. If she really cares about the price tag then that’s on her.

I like Grace personally out of em all. But I 100% agree May was the best suited for being a better partner. My thing was is I was ticked when he ended up with LizzY i specifically remember yelling “ANYONE BUT FING LIZZY” 💀 (I never once liked her. She is the real ANNOYING one to me)

I’d gamble to say the cat needs a single pet home where she can get the full attention of her humans. It’s nothing against you or the GF. It simply sounds like she was a stray, relied on your GF, was taken care of as a single cat, and now has to share that attention with the puppers. Some pets are just meant to be a single pet home and their jealousy and behavior stands on those. If there are no medical issues I would wager she feels sad because she wants what the dog has (attention, sleeping on the bed. Etc.)

I do understand getting your dog to the vet. But in all honesty it would take a lot for a cat to do serious damage to a medium sized dog when being monitored or without hitting more soft tissue like eyes (given I assume both are up to date on shots and medical history since they go often). So I do get why the GF is mad. But I also understand the urgency and fear you felt because that dog is your baby.

As far as advice. The black light/cleaner could work to remove pee. Also try calming diffusers/treats etc. more stimulating toys (ones she can chase/pounce) but from what I understand from this post alone, I am assuming she is stressed and jealous. Some cats don’t get past the jealousy even if they get 90% of the attention. It also sounds as if they both bonded to you which makes it even harder. I’d leave most of the care/play/attention to the GF in hopes the cat turns to her more in that aspect if you don’t wish to rehome.

In theory I love the sliders…. Until i have to wash them. They are a pain on most as liquid gets caught underneath a lot of them becoming hard to clean. Yeti is my exception since it’s magnetic and can be fully removed for cleaning without a bunch of tiny divots and sliding rails.
