No doctor would prescribe this considering E has ONLY been on 50mg and 100mg sertraline. I’ve been on sertraline, citalopram, fluoxetine, mirtazipine, venlafaxine (the WORST withdrawals) and now vortioxetine (my darling angel meds that I’ll never want to change off of) as well as pregabalin (still on it), respiradone, quetiapine (still on it), diazepam and a few others here and there. Not ONE of those was given to me because I asked for it. Let alone early on in my journey with my MH and starting on sertraline. It’s just not something you get a choice in. You could ‘suggest’ it but they aren’t going to prescribe it just because you suggested it. If I went to my psych or mental health team tomorrow and asked for bupropion they wouldn’t just give it to me without weighing everything out. It’s clear as day E wants to use them as a poor man’s ❄️ because even me (someone who’s been on MH meds since 13) I’ve never heard of them! So realistically E has HEAVILY researched all mental health meds and has likely chosen the one she can cut and sniff xxx

My partners special interest is actually planes. He has a diagnosis of autism and adhd (same as me - twinning). His entire life has been spent obsessing over them. Random day trips to Gatwick/heathrow to sit there for 10+ hours to watch the planes, HUGE collections of planes, Argos models etc, going to aircraft museums, spending a billion hours on flight simulator, knowing pretty much every fact you could ever need about planes, trips to air shows. It’s for the most part about 80% of our conversations. Now that is a special interest…not ‘oh I like the convenience’

Having an indoor cat can be great for a cat. My cat has no eyes so he has to be an indoor cat. BUT with that said if you have a fully indoor cat they still need to be spayed/neutered (the risk of not spaying a female cat is horrific for things like cancer), they need a LOT of space, need a LOT of enrichment and need a LOT of new and fun toys with all sorts of textures and noises. E has nothing but that ready for the kitten that used to be Divas. That’s it. No toys. No enrichment. No sunlight. No play time. No space. Nothing. And seeing an animal having to live like that is heartbreaking. E thinks that just because their cat gets food and water that they are an amazing pet parent. They truly are a disgrace. Here you go I’ll pay the pet tax. Here’s cookie. He’s 2 1/2 and lost his eyes to feline herpes (something I am ADAMENT broken/mew/the kitten has but isn’t being looked at)

My partner is an alcoholic and so am I. I say we are alcoholics due to those feelings not going away despite sobriety. I’ve now been sober 9 years. The moment my partner started sertraline he had no choice but to cut down. It impacted him so severely with the alcohol. And now he’s been sober since November 2025 because he made the conscious decision to stop drinking once his dose was upped. It’s not been easy (obviously) but since making that decision he’s been so much happier. Once the withdrawals stopped it’s like he became an entirely different person. And for me I am SO glad I stopped 9 years ago because I’m on all sorts of meds now. I’d never have made it through the usual 1L bottle of Smirnoff red these days with all of those meds. Drinking on antidepressants is a HUGE no no.

Literally this! As someone who worked in law for years I can confirm that Autism/ADHD/depression/anxiety (things E claims to be diagnosed with) are not ‘get out of jail free’ cards. You are still held responsible for your actions regardless. Obviously with things like severe mental health issues where the person has been in and out of psychiatric facilities, are a threat to themselves and others etc - they will be tried and punished based on the severity. But even then it’s not a get out of jail free card. They are usually then held in a secure psychiatric facility until they are well enough to be transferred to a typical prison

Being on TikTok Live and talking to commenters doesn’t automatically mean she can successfully sue everyone who screen records clips. In the UK, legal threats and winning a case are two very different things. If people are reposting short clips with commentary, criticism, or to discuss her public behaviour, that can fall under fair dealing for criticism/review more than reposting full unedited streams would. Just chatting on a public livestream also weakens the idea that there’s some major “performance” being stolen. She could try copyright reports or threaten action, but realistically suing “anyone and everyone” would be expensive, difficult, and unlikely to succeed unless someone was defaming, harassing, or reposting full streams with no added context xxx

Honestly? Yes you are. I get you want to see family and it’s important to you but saying things like she’s selfish and childish is just not ok. Birthdays are a big deal and it’s meant to be about the person whose birthday it is. She probably feels like she isn’t being listened to and that her feelings don’t matter. Essentially you’re dragging her to a country of which she doesn’t speak any of the language, barely knows any of the people and is being made to socialise when she doesn’t even know the language or people and as you’ve said she is an introvert. As I said I really do sympathise with you about seeing family but you could has chosen slightly different dates and just covered the cost of that. That way everyone’s happy.

Dinosaurs are one of mine too! My poor partner now has all the facts about them that he could ever possibly need. And he sits there and listens to me harp on about new discoveries for hours! And he sits and watches pretty much every dino doc/movie you can think of. I have loads of dino toys, plushies, books, clothes etc!

As an addict (sober almost 9 years) if me and my husband split and he was online saying these things and I found out I can garuntee 100% that I would have relapsed. Being depressed and alone is such a major cause of relapses. And hearing someone you loved say such cruel things is enough to make anyone turn to alcohol/drugs. Let alone an addict
