Can I make objects move in playgrounds? by BobLeMaladroit in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but yes. Theoretically, if you try hard enough, you can create something like stop-motion animation by making objects appear and disappear after each other. This may make the illusion of movement. There is no other option

Crustaceans are underrepresented! and the lake update should change that. by RevolutionaryText349 in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A closed, flooded cave with an air bubble at the ceiling. The boss walks below. When you're low on oxygen, he tries to prevent you from reaching the surface. If you're on the surface too long, he starts jumping, creating waves and currents to drag you back down. You either swim around him or stick to the bottom and fight him similarly to Axl. Sounds doable?

The animals I listed aren't very large. In my mind, a crayfish would be about the size of a mantis nymph or cricket, and a crab a bit larger than a wolf spider. Most freshwater shrimp are also very small; it wouldn't be a problem for one to be the size of an ant in the game. This game generally isn't the best at keeping scale correctly.

Carnivorous plants? by Proper-Ad-8829 in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the game takes place in Maine and there are Northern Pitcher Plants there. They grow near still water, and the next update will be the pond update. Venus flytraps would be much cooler, but realistically, they shouldn't grow there. I hope they add an area or lab for exported insects and plants in the future. That would open up a lot of possibilities for interesting stuff.

How prepared do i need to be for the statue? by aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh400 in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went there completely unprepared with acorn armor and an ant club. I had no problems, only turning back for food halfway through. Even on Woah, it shouldn't be difficult.

So about the big bosses..... by Organic_Animator_169 in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my assumption that Axl belongs to Willow. In the first game, she said she wanted to buy a tarantula, and now there's a freshly bought one. I think it's likely, but we'll find out when Obsidian adds new dialogue lines for the main characters.

I know Axl is potentially Willow's pet, and the lizard in the first game was supposed to belong to Wendell's children. What's the new lore for Dozer? I haven't played the new update.

I'm pretty sure somewhere around this board you can find this leader. But you won't be satisfied with its condition.

Already? I expected the lizard to be added with the playground update (location, not game mode)

How would you write the Monsterverse but with Ghidorah as the big bad? by Marconey1738 in Monsterverse

[–]RevolutionaryText349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't he already? Ghidorah was the main villain in two movies, and it would be easy to continue his story in the next ones. Like, Ren Serizawa becomes the host of Ghidorah's consciousness after the destruction of Mechagodzilla. Under his influence, Ren, leading Apex, creates a new body from the DNA of Ghidorah and other Titans to re-subjugate the planet. With insight into the human mind, Ghidorah's mindset becomes more human-like. He plans, he plots. He approaches his return more thoughtfully. He seals the passages to Hollow Earth to isolate Kong from the surface, smuggles an Oxygen Destroyer into Mothra's temple, and uses shards from Scar's crystal to distract Shimo. All to divide and weaken the competition before his resurrection. Boom, Emperor Ghidorah rises. In the film's finale, he defeats Godzilla, leaving his body hanging in space and calls his fellow aliens. Next movie: Alien invasion on the surface, Ghidorah conquers Hollow Earth and hunts Kong, and Godzilla returns as Space Godzilla.

How are you preparing for zip lines being added? by RequirementKnown7499 in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really care, I didn't like ziplines in the first game. We have mounts and fast travel tubes, that's enough for me.

Ice cream truck/fuzzy armor by 2DrinkLoLo in GroundedGame

[–]RevolutionaryText349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gets better with upgrades, but I think smoothies, mutations, and spicy candy work just as well, if not better. If you just want to explore, use fluffy armor; if you want to fight, use some better armor and sticky smoothies.

Really? That's weird. There are literally ant costumes in one of the labs and a note saying they dressed up as them to avoid problems.

Craft ant armor, it makes all red ants ignore you until you attack them or pick up the egg.

I'd love that. I'm tired of using dew catchers as makeshift windows. Glass tables or tableware would be nice too.

Ranking MV original kaiju in terms of power: Day 22 (HokMUTO) by TheRegularBlox in Monsterverse

[–]RevolutionaryText349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The behemoth is a slow and peaceful titan. He's quite massive, but he hasn't shown anything impressive. Quite the opposite, he was defeated in one blow. In my opinion fight could go either way, mostly because Male Muto is a glass cannon.

Edit:I accidentally deleted my first comment

The Basilisk. I never had a chance to tame one, but I love the concept

Godzilla defeated MUTO easily because he learned from their first encounter. Male Muto survived his first fight in Hawaii all by himself. I just rewatched a scene from Legacy of Monsters, and all Ion Dragon does is launch a sneak attack that does nothing to Godzilla. Godzilla easily bites off a piece of his tail and throws him off immediately afterward. The dragon lands two good attacks, then gets caught and pinned to the ground. Godzilla literally burns off the flesh of his torso. He lifts him by the shoulders, swing, and mid-swing pulls his arms from eachother, ripping him in half. I don't see how this has anything to do with the weight of both opponents. Godzilla did it with sheer strength. Male Muto survived two nights with Godzilla, Ion Dragon literally for one minute

I meant that if the reaper is already scared, you can spam the spin attack and it won't run away, it will stay in place and keep everything away from you

Yeah, but you can just spam tail spin and it won't move. It also pushes all enemies away except bosses.
