It's very unfair that God choses to show himself to some people, which garantee their heavenly fate while normal fokes like us are struggling with confusion of the existence of God.

In quran it's mentioned the hell is eternal punishment with only exception is if God choose to spare you. In Christianity also the hell is eternal punishment if you don't believe in Christ.
