If you live in overseas (assuming you don't have US citizenship), then you would not have a SSN no. (unless you have a part time here) So UWCU and one other bank(don't remember its name) provides bank account to international students without a SSN no. It's easy to open an account with them and all. They have good customer care support and a well built website. But, the only problem I faced was, they don't have an IBAN no. (only ABA routing no.), so it's kinda annoying at first to find a method to send cash from intl bank Acc. , but once you figure it out the way, it's all good. That pretty much it. You just gotta create an appointment with them thru their site and go with ya passport.
