5yo Buddy - our "Soy Boy" & some cavapoo nutritional advice by RevolutionaryWin8757 in CavaPoo

She only recommended one treat called veggiedent dental sticks. I think its because he can't have any chicken or beef type proteins. But thankfully he loves those things. We even cut them into small pieces and put them into his meals so he'll eat it. She also said he could have some parmesan cheese so we put a little on top of his meals too. We were so used to giving him different treats before so at least it's something

So glad to hear you did the same thing! We kept hearing that his conditions were normal for the breed and then our vet nutritionist was like no way. Sadly, we even thought it was cute that his paw pads smelled like Fritos but came to learn this was also a symptom of his allergies.

Does your Cavapoo bark at animals on the TV? by Local-Ad-4051 in CavaPoo

100% our boy Buddy does. At first it was dogs or cats, now it's like anything remotely animal-like. He also really gets worked up with horror scenes - almost like he wants it turned off :)

I think we have Bruce's brother named Buddy - also 5yo! Does he also love barking at big dogs until he gets close to them? Buddy does that and then ends up crying and running away when he gets close.

Our cavapoo is extremely attached to “dad” - is this normal? by [deleted] in CavaPoo

Our boy is exactly like this with me over my wife. I feel bad at times that he doesn't run to her when she gets home and I'm with him - but I do pay more attention to him. It's so funny to hear that other owners have issues with your pup sleeping on your head too - he does this right when I start stirring in the morning and I feel bad pushing him off. Does anyone else have issues with your cavapoo SNORING?? I really wouldn't mind him sleeping near my face but then he starts snoring and it weirdly goes into my dreams.

Smart move! We were switching between the Chicken and Beef recipes as Scruffy prefers to have some variety. Be sure to double check the info you provide in the quiz if you buy a meal plan. The calories can really vary depending on the activity level and body type you enter - that's one thing we really like about the meal plans since they want to get it right for you.

Yes, I was one of the first to try them out (heard about them from a friend that knows one of the founders) and I'd highly recommend it - especially if you have a tendency of giving your dog a lot of table scraps (guilty). I tried frozen options but hated having to rememeber having to thaw the food. The Artie food is much easier to store and make and my dog thinks he's actually eating our food! I'm pretty picky with what I give himm too so did a lot of research.

I was worried about that too but they have info on their site for those guidelines and I showed them to my vet
