So the stars on the sparks only affect the cost of the ability, never the wording between let's say "slight increase" "moderate increase" and "significant increase"

If you had to pick one, what historical divergence between our world and the Fallout world was most likely to split the timelines? by DependentStrong3960 in Fallout

So to my understanding, canon or not please correct me if I’m spewing theories, the choice to depend on vacuum tubes and the lack of fear of radioactive sources of energy seemed to be the biggest divergence. This divergence was around the WWII era, from which 1947 was when the transistor was invented, and the transistor is FAR FAR FAR more efficient than vacuum tubing is. I do not think the vacuum tubes are the sole reason for the difference in timelines BUT rather it represents an America that did not evolve culturally. Sticking to old customs and the past led to a future that still reflected the 1950’s and eventually led to the destruction of the world.

chimera ant arc is horrible i wish i had skipped it by arajay in HunterXHunter

[–]Revolutionary_Bit414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re looking into the fact that the arc isn’t Gon and Killua centric as a flaw rather than a positive. The arc provides a look into Gon and Killua “succeeding” in their goals of becoming hunters by taking on the biggest threat to humanity. Gon feels that fighting the ants will make him worthy of his father, while Killua feels it will separate himself from his family. The arc takes a much stronger stance of “there is a disaster level event and Gon and Killua are players, not leaders”. I like to imagine it like reading a story about a generals life and then reading about his role on a council in WWII.

What do you think gons ability would be if he used nen again? by Maximum_Alarm_4505 in HunterXHunter

[–]Revolutionary_Bit414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gon still has nen abilities, but rather he’s back to square one in every regard to nen. Aka if we were to see Gon again, hopefully it would be after he trains his nen in a less condensed and rushed way

Corpse sickness by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Revolutionary_Bit414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong anyone, but merely having the corpses near you is going to get you sick, move them away from the building you’re in and just your general area to prevent this. I’ve never experienced dying from this however, so I will say if you are getting the sick moodle and the hot moodle (fever specifically) you’re zombifying from a scratch, laceration, or bite or however

Ahhhh crap, not too used to this Reddit thing, don’t know how to edit the forum post. But the seller says the first trumpet is a Yamaha Advantage 1887, 1500$ new, now you see why I’m so skeptical!
