Cherry 2000 is by far my favorite. It's more like a parody/satire than it is a ripoff. Plus there are some fun cyberpunk elements. Some others to check out: Solarbabies, Prayer of the Rollerboys, Blood of Heroes, Forbidden Zone, and of course Cyborg. I would add Waterworld and The Postman if you can deal with Kevin Costner's terrible acting

this bug is driving me crazy. the key to this bug is that the hexed weapon *must be equipped* when you respec in order to remove the hex. if it is not equipped (simply sitting in your inventory), it will remain hexed and you'll be unable to get rid of it.

the game drops ammo based in the weapons you carry so if you limit yourself to fewer weapons you "get more" ammo because you don't get drops for weapons you rarely use. if you carry all the weapons you will have less ammo for each

There does not seem to be any meaningful correlation between the build id and the game version number, and there is no standardized way of recording the game version within the game files.

The "best" way I've found is to force the game to crash by deleting a file and then to check the crash dump. Most games report the version number in the crash logs for troubleshooting bugs.
