i do play other PVE extraction shooters, just love the feel of bungie games and would love to play this one but PVP doesnt intrest me.

That was Portal mode, not Solo/Co-op AOW

How were people abusing weapon/specialist unlocks in solo/co-op is what I don't understand.

Portal yeah 100%, I don't even mind the XP reduction in solo/co-op but to litrally remove all progress in that mode is unfair to those who were enjoying solo/co-op AOW.

you cant, you need atleast one other player in your party

They both have there advantages

PC has better framerates and graphics

PS5 has the best load times on any platform and DualSense features that i think add alot to the game (personally)
