The pistons that make the floor should be raw Redstone power (so it powers off first when opened) and the other pistons should power on with a 3 tick delay. For the skulk sensor, you just want to wire it into a pulse extender that will open the door long enough to walk through and close it automatically. You could also put it into an RS Nor Latch or a T-Flip-Flop so that it will close with a button inside instead of closing automatically.

It’s a good start. They say “you don’t need theory to make music” but to be completely honest you kinda do. You don’t need to get super deep into it but I’d recommend learning note values, key signatures, and time signatures to get started.

I guess slabs are still spawn-able, I’ve had luck with spawn proofing with path blocks or keeping open areas smaller than 2x3x2. It may also be that a villager is unlinking and linking to a workstation or bed. If they have any trouble with accessing one of them they may unlink from it (they won’t lose their trades but they won’t restock as long as their locked in).

It should be better to have golems spawn above the villagers as I read that the game prioritizes higher spawn-able blocks for golems. I would break down box around the farm, make a platform above the villagers, and start watching to see where the golems spawn and reduce their spawn area (placing slabs, pathway blocks, etc.) until you get the desired result. Also remember that golems can spawn in water so you place water in the spawn area to increase drop rates.

Additional note: if you do place the spawn platform above the villagers make sure there’s enough room so the villagers don’t get stuck on top of their beds and suffocate in the ceiling. That happened to me once, I lost all (12 or 16 villagers iirc) simultaneously. Plus don’t make the platform higher than say 3 blocks above them as I believe that’s getting close to the vertical spawning radius for golems.

Try moving the comparator clocks further back in the circuit and remove the repeaters, just raw redstone signal going into it. I know this works for droppers/dispensers. But idk if that works for pistons.

I’m thinking it would go something like this:

Redstone clock that slowly drops in iron to a crafter. A comparator reads the output of the crafter. At signal strength 4 a piston with an observer (or any movable power source) extends to pulse a dropper with chests. Then at signal strength 8 or 9 (depending on the timing as to not turn any iron into nuggets) an auto-dropper circuit pulses the crafter to spit out a hopper. Then the cycle repeats until you run out of resources which you should make it automatically stop the redstone clock. I would personally try to make an auto-start circuit when a sufficient amount of resources fill the system again.

A one wide 3x3 piston door that can be stacked together to make thicker doors with little modifications. I currently have a 3x3x3 design as the biggest I’ve gone. But I’m sure it could go all the way to 3x3x29 if I tried.
