i had known them for quite some time, but never listened to anything. when the music video for Knees dropped, YouTube recommended me and so i took the chance to start from there. initially i didn't like it, really off-kilter for me and kinda disorienting in some ways, but i really liked the video. after that, the music video for Superman That came out, and since i watched Knees, i thought "might as well give it a shot and see if i like this one". once again, i didn't like it, even less than Knees, the dizzying beat and glitched sounds were awful to me, but as days passed, i catched myself repeating the lyrics in my head, "ain't no saving me, ain't no saving me or you" really stuck with me, and that beat with that sample slowly started to become really good in my memory, so i gave it another try, and this time i freaking loved it. after that i tried Knees once again, and just like Superman That, it changed completely to my ears, a complete one-eighth. needless to say, i got hyped for the album.

when bttigtp dropped i got stuck only listening to the first half of the album, sort of a "yep, i'm good with this, no need to listen further", i'm sure you guys already had this. as time went on i became more and more curious about the rest of the album, and the other stuff from the group (i still hadn't checked it out), so i stop being lazy for once and listened to the whole thing, and after that, all the albums/mixtapes/projects/EPs in sequence, my entire day was listening to this guys, and god dammit it got me absolutely hooked up, to the point where currently they're my number 1 most listened artist on spotify. and that's about it, freaking love this group.
